RE: Suicide - kdsii - 12-25-2012 Nah, nah. I will find a way to keep on. Just, from this, I sympathize with those who go through similar problems. It's not always so cut and dry, that's all... As I was saying Kdsii, It is my humble thinking that if we do not have certain knowledge of what happens after death, we must weigh the risk of the unknown factors with the torment that is the reason we might want to risk anything that might end our suffering. it is unfortunate that far too many fall vi9ctim to their 'beliefs' that, '...my self-argument with suicide is not one from guilt, but of a long, long awaited sleep and mercy...' My question again is how do you know that death brings you a long awaited sleep and mercy? And what exactly is mercy? RE: Suicide - norral - 12-25-2012 jdsii i would find a practitioner of this. dont give up hope. there is a way to relief. keep searching. especially this year is a great year for finding ways to feel better http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0553377841/ref=ox_sc_sfl_image_4?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER norral ![]() RE: Suicide - Zachary - 12-26-2012 (02-08-2012, 03:17 PM)Ankh Wrote: Many times in the past, yes. Some times very seriously, but there was always something or someone preventing it from happening. Yes, same here. I, in the past, often thought of suicide...sometimes just thinking about the possibility made me feel less restricted...just knowing it as an option. BUT Like ankh, just simply not being able to go through with it...knowing deep inside it would be regretted...and that from the 'other side' I would see what a mistake I made and how the depression was nothing but an experience to be passed through. You can't escape yourself...period. Challenges will be faced whether in this life or the next. |
