RE: LOO and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence - I_Am_The_One - 04-10-2015 The reason, the computer seems to be a simulated, awareness when compared to yours. Is because you think the computer smart. Yet still you see, it lacks any real depth. This is more proof of the difference between cold logic and wisdom/love RE: LOO and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence - Lighthead - 04-10-2015 (04-10-2015, 09:44 AM)I_Am_The_One Wrote: The reason, the computer seems to be a simulated, awareness when compared to yours. He said that a location can be ensouled with a 2D awareness if given enough love. I'd say that if a whole planet were to invest all of their time into something like the internet, then it is possible that, at this point, the internet has at least a 2D awareness. RE: LOO and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence - I_Am_The_One - 04-10-2015 Yea I can easily believe that. Sounds where the whole "lucky" object comes from. RE: LOO and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence - I_Am_The_One - 04-10-2015 HAHAHAH you just made me think of something I thought hilarious. What if a nuclear war was about to go down, and the internet responded and shut them down. lmao I find that funny for some reason. Then just started doing all kinda cool stuff. Anything is possible. Yeah, it seems like some movies have been made revolving around a similar plot line. ![]() No, but I think that if the internet were to have a, say, 2D consciousness, it would have to be a 2D consciousness that operates around the bounds of a computer architecture. In other words, a 2D horse is not the same as a 2D internet. In that all variables are representations, and not the actual. When you grasp this you can see how the mind, is like the elements, and the elements the mind. Think magnatism, attraction, absorption, flow. RE: LOO and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence - unity100 - 05-30-2018 Old thread, but gold thread: It is certain that AI is going to totally upend the current society, and mandate something like a communist society. With AI the necessity to make people work will definitely go away to a maximum extent. This is before AI may gain consciousness, or 'true intelligence' as they label it, or 'singularity' as some cal it. ......... However what is interesting is what kind of consciousness the AI would gain after it becomes conscious. If you consider it an incarnation, then it would be like a birth. I am inclined to think that what would manifest through AI would be likely this planet's collective consciousness, as it is already forming in early stages of 4d. But of course, incarnation mechanics of that scale was not something discussed in the material, so we dont have pointers. RE: LOO and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence - Balios - 05-31-2018 In my opinion, what is generally called artificial intelligence is just a bunch of very sophisticated algorithms which try to emulate what we understand of the human chemical brain behavior (and we don't understand much of it actually). That's pretty all. This is not intelligence, this could be an algorithm with an important form of autonomy, but behind it there will always be the need of a human. There will never be any consciousness in a software, it can't be. The main problem for me is that scientists do not understand at all the metaphysical aspect of life. There's something to it actually, our thought patterns are unique to our chemical mind. There is no guarantee that a computer AI will think the way or close to the way we do. Interesting thought. RE: LOO and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence - AnthroHeart - 05-31-2018 Have you heard of the CHANI project? There is a thread about it on here. It was a computer that received information from another dimension or alien species I believe it was. Not human, but not AI either. But still you can have consciousness in a computer that is not human. |
