I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 80.11-12:
"Questioner: Could I say, then, that implicit in the process of becoming adept is the possible partial polarization towards service to self because simply the adept becomes disassociated with many of his kind or like in the particular density which he inhabits?
Ra: I am Ra. This is likely to occur. The apparent happening is disassociation: whether the truth is service to self and thus true disassociation from other-selves, or service to others and thus true association with the heart of all other-selves and disassociation only from the illusory husks which prevent the adept from correctly perceiving the self and other-self as one.
Questioner: Then you say that this effect of disassociation on the service-to-others adept is a stumbling block or slowing process in reaching that goal which he aspires to? Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. This disassociation from the miasma of illusion and misrepresentation of each and every distortion is a quite necessary portion of an adept's path. It may be seen by others to be unfortunate."
Don's first question came from the last paragraph of Ra's answer to the previous question:
"It is also to be noted that an adept is one which has freed itself more and more from the constraints of the thoughts, opinions, and bonds of other-selves. Whether this is done for service to others or service to self, it is a necessary part of the awakening of the adept. This freedom is seen by those not free as what you would call evil or black. The magic is recognized; the nature is often not."
So Don then asked Ra that if part of becoming an adept in the positive sense would include behavior that would seem to be of a service-to-self nature since the adept is separating itself from others on his spiritual journey. Ra replied that this separation of the positive adept from others could be seen in that light although it was more accurate to say that this dissociation is really separating from "the illusory husks which prevent the adept from correctly perceiving the self and other-self as one" and really a "true association with the heart of all other-selves".
In his second question Don mistook what Ra had said in the answer to his first question and asked Ra if this separation from others that the positive adept is likely to experience was a stumbling block on its spiritual path. Ra said that was incorrect as this separation from the illusion was necessary portion of the adept's path even though others might see it as unfortunate or even evil. In 80.13 Ra went a little further in describing this process:
"Questioner: Then, is this, from the point of view or with respect to the fifteenth archetype, somewhat of an excursion into the Matrix of the Spirit in this process? Does that make any sense?
Ra: I am Ra. The excursion of which you speak and the process of disassociation is most usually linked with that archetype you call Hope-which we would prefer to call Faith. This archetype is the Catalyst of the Spirit and, because of the illuminations of the Potentiator of the Spirit, will begin to cause these changes in the adept's viewpoint."
Eventually the inner work of the adept produces the realization that it is the Creator as Ra described this process in 75.23:
"Questioner: I am sorry for the confusion. Sometimes, as you say, sound vibration complexes are not very adequate, and I'm sorry.
You made the statement in a previous session that the true adept lives more and more as it is. Will you explain and expand upon that statement?
Ra: I am Ra. Each entity is the Creator. The entity, as it becomes more and more conscious of its self, gradually comes to the turning point at which it determines to seek either in service to others or in service to self. The seeker becomes the adept when it has balanced, with minimal adequacy, the energy centers red, orange, yellow, and blue, with the addition of the green for the positive, thus moving into indigo work.
The adept then begins to do less of the preliminary, or outer, work having to do with function, and begins to effect the inner work which has to do with being. As the adept becomes a more and more consciously crystallized entity it gradually manifests more and more of that which it always has been since before time: that is, the One Infinite Creator."
In 74.11 Ra shared more information as how the adept may become the Creator through practicing the disciplines of the personality:
"Questioner: Now, what I am trying to get at is how these disciplines affect the energy centers and the power, shall I say, of the white magician. Could you . . . will you tell me how that works?
Ra: I am Ra. The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold:
One, know yourself.
Two, accept yourself.
Three, become the Creator.
The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves.
In relation to the pursuit of the magical working, the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator. To become the Creator is to become all that there is. There is, then, no personality in the sense with which the adept begins its learn/teaching. As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity."
Today was the second Saturday that I have utilized as a more free-flowing day in which I do little works in the house or yard as I discovered them rather than plan them as I do during the work week. I emptied the three hummingbird feeders with the idea of leaving only one out since I have only seen one ruby-throated hummer on three occasions in the last two weeks. I really miss seeing these sweet little souls and hope that more will be showing up soon. I also filled the other bird feeder that is visited by a dozen or so other varieties of birds, plus a squirrel or two.
I did some laundry and a little ironing, but then I gave myself a real treat. I listened to three Ra sessions in order to do a little research on healing. I was mesmerized by once again being able to hear Don's carefully thought out questions, almost as if he was channeling them himself. And then, of course, hearing Carla's voice channeling those of Ra was a joy beyond words.
From A Book of Days, channeled by Carla L. Rueckert:
Go Abroad In Happiness
I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.
Be it known that happiness is not necessarily a burden. We say this because we find this instrument, this morning, bemoaning the awkwardness of a happy spirit which does not seem to produce the fruits that an unhappy spirit produces.
The spirit is with each always, not only in times of trouble but also in times of rejoicing. It is the soul's difficulty that in times of happiness it is far easier to become oblivious to the wants and needs of the spirit within. The spirit within would always be giving. And, indeed, the happy soul is often content to stay at home amidst the accoutrements of living which have produced such contentment.
Therefore, go abroad in happiness, sensitive as always to the winds that blow from the spirit saying, "Come hither! Touch, feel and sense the spirit at work in and through each soul!"
We hope we leave you in a state of readiness; readiness to turn outward to others and inward to God. In that balance lies peace, now and forever. Amen.
I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:
We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light, and healing energies of the One Infinite Creator heal the heart of each soul in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energies in their hearts, in their minds, and in their souls. Amen.
