So, I encountered this and I agree the simplicity is beautiful, but lets think a little more deeply and perhaps weirdly in to this quote...
Unity is united. Unity is the "thing" which corresponds to the "idea of the thing", which is of something being united, in this case, infinity.
The state of being of infinity is united as One.
"Joined as a whole" and "unity" always suggests that a whole is comprised of some thing which is plural, for there is no need for unity if there is an isolated one thing, a singular noun, as the whole concept becomes redundant until there is another, even if that other is the self.
Thus the description of unity which gives rise to unity is that there is an aspect of being united within the state of being of infinity which is infinite in its plurality while still being a singularity.
Now, it is our understanding that we are all comprised of both this potential and kinetic modes of infinity, yet, what are those things truly?
There is only unity. This unity distorts itself.
Finity is what allows infinity to distort itself in to plurality. This is a concept that infinity became aware of or perhaps has always "been" aware of but rather to start an octave it discerns perhaps a particular type of finity as finity is always defined by a focus of boundaries which we commonly call form. Thus, in discerning finity, infinity is experiencing all that is not infinite, while still maintaining its infinite potential.
Thus, potential and kinetic is the process of interaction which takes place between infinity and finity. This occurs as a concept before it is ever manifested.
This first distortion is an awareness of the Creator of the potential for a certain 'knowing' of Itself through the concept of freedom of awareness or free will, which is, to me, actually the bridge from infinity to finity. It is the kinetic field being creating from the potential field, it is the first "work" put in to action by the Creator in order to begin the process of experiencing itself in all of its finite modes.
That is, it is the separation of infinity in to the modes of potential and kinetic through the concept of finity as it was discerned that for infinity to exist there had to be concepts which work as tools for the aspects of infinity to be individuated or focused upon.
Here we see that after the freedom of awareness allows infinity to begin the exploration of finity there has to be some natural mechanism by which the potentials of infinity are made kinetic, which is actually the "finitude" of any particular aspect of infinity. The kinetic comes as the focus is found by the awareness of the Creator. What's interesting is it is likely that EVERY aspect of infinity was simultaneously focused upon and begun to be explored as infinity realized itself finitely. (Not getting in to the possibility of never-ending 'new' aspects being formed.)
So here we see that the first distortion, free will, obtained focus through love/creative principle, the second distortion, which produced an energy which is the distortion of light, the third distortion.
We see that through the process of focus that freedom of will can be exercised over the distortions of light through the use of love using light.
Remember, all of these things, the free will, the love and the light are all the first layers or levels of the One Infinite Creator. It is the Creator's free will. The Creator's love and the Creator's light. They are the "face" of the Creator. (Macroprosopus)
We must then also remember that we are thus the Creator, as it says here, and we thus "recapitulate in reverse the creation in its unity" as vibratory complexes, thus returning to unity. We, ourselves, are in fact the Creator experiencing ourselves as a distortion which is created as a distortion of these three main principles. We are somewhere down the line of distortions after the Logos focused itself upon the creation of this galaxy, and yet are still that Logos and still the Creator, potentially co-Creators.
I stress this potentiality now because as the recapitulation of the idea of infinity becoming aware and knowing finity in reverse we must then realize that we are finity in the process of knowing ourselves as infinity. We are the Creator after we have completely bathed ourselves in the waters of finity and are now realizing again the vastness of ourselves. Each of us is a seed that will one day grow to become a full fledged co-Creator Logos.
Each is already this way, but it is through awareness that the growth and power, wisdom and love of the Logos realizes itself in the experience of the Creator knowing itself.
Why? We (individuations of the Creator) all 'start' on a level of absolute finity, regardless of our plane or density and have to then start the process of experience so as to find our way in to total knowingness of ourselves as the Creator both finite and infinite.
Thus, how can we do this, how is this done?
The keys are also given.
There is a focus upon "seeing" the Creator it seems as through "sight" there appears to become increased awareness and through awareness the greater potential to tap intelligent infinity and become aware of unity.
What are we really doing when we "see the Creator"? We are giving ourselves awareness of the infinity within all that is finite. By doing so and acknowledging that, we are effectively increasing the infinitude of finity in the awareness of the Creator as experiencing itself through the concept of finity.
Thus, there is a ratio of infinite awareness to finite awareness. The more we work towards "seeing the Creator" and thus over time becoming the Creator that we see, for it is ourselves, we gradually come to a 1:1 ratio of finity with infinity, however this is no easy task but also reveals something behind the concept of degrees in magical fraternities. Ratios can also be expressed in degrees of difference or polarities or differentiation caused by freedom of awareness.
However, while this is the most basic locomotion of the progression through densities, there is the schematic of the Logos in place which determines the manner of finity which is being explored in this particular exploration of the awareness of the Creator knowing itself. With this comes the myriads of distortions of light mentioned above.
We, as the individuations of the Creator and also this Logos which is the Creator, are thus tasked with the knowing of ourselves completely within the context of the experiencing being had by this Logos. That also includes everything which is opposite or negative to the positive design of the Logos.
No, that doesn't mean that absolutely every individuation has to experience every single thing directly and first hand, at least not until unity is realized fully by that individuation but by then experience is not a thing which is difficult to process in any case.
What it does mean is that everything we do is in some way exploring the realms of the Logos which we are individuations of the Creator experiencing through this Logos. It also means that we have the potential to realize ourselves as both finite and infinite.
When you "see the Creator" you are looking at infinity, it is reflected within and without yourself which is the infinity that is the Creator. Thus, the circle is closed and the Creator knows itself through finity in a greater degree of awareness.
We are all moving towards the same infinite realization although it happens through an infinite number of finite forms and this is why we have any and all experiences that we have.
However, what then, does it mean to be a co-Creator? Perhaps our progression is not merely the pull of the river taking us downstream but rather we are equipped with a vehicle and boat and are able to traverse our own way through the jungle of distortions. With time, we may become more familiar with the area in which we dwell and trek and gradually expand that area greater and greater, becoming aware of all that is around.
The development of the co-Creator is like the process of slowly learning to function within the world as a conscious, intentional being whom is aware of the self as the Creator. Thus, the area within the self is expanded until the Creator is seen and in seeing the Creator as the self the self more and more completely realizes the nature of the self as the Creator, which is infinite in its potential.
We become aware of our potential and begin to make it kinetic. We experience and use the focus of love in order to make our, the Creator's, experience of ourselves to know ourselves.
We are only capable of loving as much as we are aware of and we are only able to focus if our will is free from all constraints. Hence we then begin to see where the disciplines of the personality stem from as to free the will is to free the mind, and to explore greater awareness of love is to explore with the body, to free the body.
We then also see how in this octave we have a polarity between the freedom of will that each has which is a determinant in the amount of love/light each is able to use to focus upon the awareness of intelligent infinity, or the Creator.
The knowingness the Creator is exploring in this octave is in regards to the service that pertains to the free will of each being. Thus, it is seen that it is the highest service to abide the free will of all others, and the greatest service to oneself is to abide by one's own will. Hence, from there is spawn the apparent duality of one being able to abide by one's own will but not abide the will of others. This, I believe stems from the natural tension which exists from wills which have opposing directions or which are focused on things which are polarized or opposite to eachother. Each individual focus is all well and good but the existence of focus upon each end of the spectrum creates the dynamic interplay of polarity as service.
That was the beginning of the octave and the first form of light, the mind/body/spirit. Through the use of the veil the polarity of the octave was established in manifestation which had been potential at the beginning. This was done so as to diversify the experience the Creator was having with itself so as to complete the intended path of knowing set out in the design of the Logos which is, in actuality, timeless.
The design of the Logos is a schematic whereby the Creator can individuate, experience itself as completely finite, and then becoming aware of itself again as infinity it moves to a new exploration of knowingness in finity. I believe that each "completed" individual Creator essentially creates a new schematic with which the Creator may experience itself.
Thus, in experiencing ourselves as the Creator, there are indeed three tasks.
Know yourself - You are the Creator
Accept yourself - You are the Creator
Become the Creator by being that which you are through the acceptance of that which you are.
The real question of all of this then finally comes, after you realize you are the Creator and that is - what do you choose to do with that power?
I choose to nourish life wherever I may and respect death as a force of the greatest change. I choose to honour and walk a path which support and uplifts the innocent, the disheartened, the disabled and the confused. I choose to honour the Creator in all and in myself.
What do you choose to do, oh Creator?

There is unity.

This unity has a potential and kinetic. The potential is intelligent infinity. Tapping this potential will yield work. This work has been called by us, intelligent energy.

The intelligent infinity discerned a concept. This concept was discerned due to freedom of will of awareness. This concept was finity. This was the first and primal paradox or distortion of the Law of One. Thus the one intelligent infinity invested itself in an exploration of many-ness. Due to the infinite possibilities of intelligent infinity there is no ending to many-ness. The exploration, thus, is free to continue infinitely in an eternal present.
Finity is what allows infinity to distort itself in to plurality. This is a concept that infinity became aware of or perhaps has always "been" aware of but rather to start an octave it discerns perhaps a particular type of finity as finity is always defined by a focus of boundaries which we commonly call form. Quote:Questioner: Now, I understand that the first distortion of intelligent infinity is the distortion of what we call free will. Can you give me a definition of this distortion?
Ra: I am Ra. In this distortion of the Law of One it is recognized that the Creator will know Itself.

Quote: (15.21) Questioner: Well, in yesterday’s material you stated “we offer the Law of One, the solving of paradoxes.” You also mentioned earlier that the first paradox, or the first distortion I meant, was the distortion of free will. Could you tell me if there’s a sequence? Is there a first, second, third, fourth distortion of the Law of One?
Ra: I am Ra. Only up to a very short point. After this point, the many-ness of distortions are equal one to another. The first distortion, free will, finds focus. This is the second distortion known to you as Logos, the Creative Principle or Love. This intelligent energy thus creates a distortion known as Light. From these three distortions come many, many hierarchies of distortions, each having its own paradoxes to be synthesized, no one being more important than another.
Quote: (27.12) Questioner: I would like for you to define love in the sense— in its sense as the second distortion.
Ra: I am Ra. This must be defined against the background of intelligent infinity or unity or the One Creator with the primal distortion of free will. The term Love then may be seen as the focus, the choice of attack, the type of energy of an extremely, shall we say, high order which causes intelligent energy to be formed from the potential of intelligent infinity in just such and such a way. This then may be seen to be an object rather than an activity by some of your peoples, and the principle of this extremely strong energy focus being worshiped as the Creator instead of unity or oneness from which all Loves emanate.
Quote:This intelligent energy thus creates a distortion known as Light.
Quote: (27.13) Questioner: Is Love— is there a manifestation of love that we could call vibration?
Ra: I am Ra. Again we reach semantic difficulties. The vibration or density of love or understanding is not a term used in the same sense as the second distortion, Love; the distortion Love being the great activator and primal co-Creator of various creations using intelligent infinity; the vibration love being that density in which those who have learned to do an activity called “loving” without significant distortion, then seek the ways of light or wisdom. Thus in vibratory sense love comes into light in the sense of the activity of unity in its free will. Love uses light and has the power to direct light in its distortions. Thus vibratory complexes recapitulate in reverse the creation in its unity, thus showing the rhythm or flow of the great heartbeat, if you will use this analogy.

The keys are also given.
Quote: (52.11) Let us remember that we are all one. This is the great learning/teaching. In this unity lies love. This is a great learn/teaching. In this unity lies light. This is the fundamental teaching of all planes of existence in materialization. Unity, love, light, and joy; this is the heart of evolution of the spirit.
The second-ranking lessons are learn/taught in meditation and in service. At some point the mind/body/spirit complex is so smoothly activated and balanced by these central thoughts or distortions that the techniques you have mentioned become quite significant. However, the universe, its mystery unbroken, is one. Always begin and end in the Creator, not in technique.
Quote: (90.16) Ra: I am Ra. Each Logos desires to create a more eloquent expression of experience of the Creator by the Creator. The archetypical mind is intended to heighten this ability to express the Creator in patterns more like the fanned peacock’s tail, each facet of the Creator vivid, upright, and shining with articulated beauty.
Quote: (10.14) Ra: I am Ra.
Exercise One. This is the most nearly centered and usable within your illusion complex. The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion or density. The exercise is to consciously seek that love in awareness and understanding distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of the life-experience of an entity. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking powers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third. As with the previous type of empowerment, there will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that, as before, the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential.
Exercise Two. The universe is one being. When a mind/body/spirit complex views another mind/body/spirit complex, see the Creator. This is an helpful exercise.
Exercise Three. Gaze within a mirror. See the Creator.
Exercise Four. Gaze at the creation which lies about the mind/body/spirit complex of each entity. See the Creator.
The foundation or prerequisite of these exercises is a predilection towards what may be called meditation, contemplation, or prayer. With this attitude, these exercises can be processed. Without it, the data will not sink down into the roots of the tree of mind, thus enabling and ennobling the body and touching the spirit.

Quote: (16.38) Questioner: And then the Law of One is truly universal in creating the progression toward the eighth density or octave in all galaxies. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. There are infinite forms, infinite understandings, but the progression is one.
We are all moving towards the same infinite realization although it happens through an infinite number of finite forms and this is why we have any and all experiences that we have.

Quote: (82.12) A very great deal of creation was manifested without the use of the concepts involved in consciousness, as you know it. The creation itself is a form of consciousness which is unified, the Logos being the one great heart of creation. The process of evolution through this period, which may be seen to be timeless, is most valuable to take into consideration, for it is against the background of this essential unity of the fabric of creation that we find the ultimate development of the Logoi which chose to use that portion of the harvested consciousness of the Creator to move forward with the process of knowledge of self. As it had been found to be efficient to use the various densities, which are fixed in each octave, in order to create conditions in which self-conscious sub-Logoi could exist, this was carried out throughout the growing flower-strewn field, as your simile suggests, of the one infinite creation.
The first beings of mind, body, and spirit were not complex. The experience of mind/body/spirits at the beginning of this octave of experience was singular. There was no third-density forgetting. There was no veil. The lessons of third density are predestined by the very nature of the vibratory rates experienced during this particular density and by the nature of the quantum jump to the vibratory experiences of fourth density.
Quote: (82.11) The harvest of the previous octave was the Creator of Love manifested in mind, body, and spirit. This form of the Creator experiencing Itself may perhaps be seen to be the first division.
Quote: (74.11) Ra: I am Ra. The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold.
One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator.
The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves. In relation to the pursuit of the magical working the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator. To become the Creator is to become all that there is. There is then no personality in the sense with which the adept begins its learn/teaching. As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity.
