I scanned through the book at my local library. A lot of time is spent making connections between different historical events. I think that history does move in cycles to an extent, albeit more of a spiral than periodic.
I think it would have been better had he taken a wider context by, for example, giving detail about the degree that the Founding of the U.S. was a sort of intentional reincarnation of the Roman Republic, and the same with other empires. Trying to connect individual personalities is a bit of a stretch to take literally, but perhaps OK if you treat it as archetypal rather than literal. If you want hard scientific facts, read his previous book. He cites some interesting stuff from Michael Newton, and my main take from the book is a desire to go read some of his books.

it's a case of the fallen idol syndrome.
people want to believe in someone, have them tell them all the answers, to lead a model life ... and then defer their development and choices to that individual. It's like - hey, please tell me what to do and think, because I am too confused and unskilled to make up my own mind. And then when the hero turns out to be just another flawed human, with their own imbalances and karmic load, then the disappointed expectations kicks in; and that most often expresses itself as lashing out against the former idol. I know ... because I've been there and done it myself. In fact, I caught the 2012 wave fairly early on (2005? 2006?) and watched all the David W material as it came out, become a faithful believer in everything Red Ice Radio advertised, and was glued to each Project Camelot video as it was posted online. Why did I do this? Why was I such a fanboy? it was because these individuals seemed to have access to insights and understandings (insider interviews, researchers deep inside the scientific web, fantastical time travel devices, 'whistleblowers', Mr Greer, Coast2Coast etc, psychic awareness), and here was poor me who knew jack all, and had to study each and every word of theirs. I was aware and studying the Ra material at the same time ... and yet I still needed these crutches. after 2 or 3 years, and having just empty promises from all these so-called 'insider sources', I became somewhat disheartened. How was my learning to continue? I had exhausted these so called conspiracy-gurus - what they said changed my lived experience in no real way; I was still grumpy, prone to anger, alone, and frustrated. this acknowledgement that I had walked down a barren path, this deep realization kick-started something deep inside me. My dreams, all of a sudden started becoming more vivid and spoke to issues that I was dealing with. I suddenly had an urge to start meditating seriously, and found that I could attain deep deep states quite effortlessly. At first, I could sit still for maybe 10, 15 minutes, but this gradually extended into the half hour, then the hour, and then sessions stopped being measured. The inner world kicked open to me; and I found my own Oracle; my own inner source and guidance. Dreams and Meditation. Dreams and Meditation. These two avenues suddenly became available after I had exhausted all the outer seeking and gathering of useless knowledge. and was I a schmuck? At the age of 31 or 32 finally stumbling across the techniques that have been praised and spoken about for thousands of years, and yet I had not chosen to put into practice, even after years and years of general studying? (I had my 'first awakening' at age 18). Sure my life had been busy and hectic since the first awakening, but really, any excuse for not practising the most basic of techniques? there is no regret for the choices I made. I wandered around and confused for 30 years. But in that deep confusion a Powerful Will was forged and honed - the deep, sincere, and powerful desire to Know and Understand. And when I truly started implementing the archetypes (with a sh*tload of dream guidance), and when I started having visions and understandings present themselves in deep meditation, when I started having the past-life flashbacks ... when the clearance of blockages started becoming truly real, the mental alchemy ... you can imagine the joy and delight of 30 years of delayed frustration unlocking. You can be sure there was a rocketboom in the astral realms when I finally arrived at my truer nature.
There is no black and white; There is no need to trust an "authoritative" source; There is no need to believe that someone who is correct about some things is correct about all things; once the transition is made to use your own discernment you can read any book or listen to any source, and let that which does not resonate fall away.
I personally believe there is no infallible source of truth. Ra has made transmission errors. If you permanently refuse to look at a source for saying something that is incorrect, I believe you would end up refusing to look at any source, because they are all fallible here on the Earth plane. Which actually is ok too, as long as you can learn effectively on your own. Discernment is key, because ultimately, only you can learn for yourself. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if David is a well meaning, mixed message channel; one who tries to channel positive things but unknowingly gets negative information from time to time due to his own subtle biases. I don't think there is any downside to reading his material if you do so with a balanced mindset.

Do you really want a world that ends, or like a rollercoaster, do you want a journey that always seems to just be the death of you but you always walk out alive? Maybe with the anxiety and the screaming in the middle forcing you to make choices you would not otherwise had the courage to make.
I'm reminded of a scene from Independence Day the movie where a specific farm boy hits on a specific farm girl. That sort of thing you know. God got you covered. chck chck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FigprdcBGA (Edit for those who not in the Not Sure-English-Not sure, I mean that accuracy of data isnt the point, the point of it is its predictability, David is predictably going to predict the end of the world, and fail, because we dont want the world to end.)

How about neither - not playing along with and entertaining silly games. You kinda have that grown-up choice available.

It has 4.5 Stars on Amazon. I am reading the book just now. Most people rated it 5 stars.
I am not very far into the book as i am reading other material, however it does seem to be a very good read indeed. I have been following Wilcock since 2006 and others like project camelot (I don't follow them any more) I can honestly say David has done at least for me a great service and ultimately he really just points us to look into ourselves. I understand its easy to get caught up with insiders and secret projects etc, i feel David went to much into that side of things. I have come to understand that nobody is coming to save us. To give up hope for the future. I don't personally think there will be an ascension or disclosure any time soon , although i believe both of these things will one day be possible. Rather than focus on external events that are in the future, i have learned to focus on the present moment as best as i can, doing what i can to help be of service. I don't think there is anything else i can do other than that. Quote:The time of the one wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word ’struggle’ from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

To other selves you appear to be joyously in the game but at the same time it stirs time within themselves. They get just enough of a narrow observation of themselves in time of where they want to be, out of time.

He does seem to constantly reiterate it, as I just glanced at his blog and it's the same old storyline. We have all been there though, so I'm not going to get frustrated with a mirror. But we definitely have to transcend victim consciousness. The illuminating key that Ra was trying to teach is that we have to stop viewing events and interactions as somehow other than self. When we can see ourselves in others, or that manifestations are the result of a lack of responsibility, then.. "Even the most unhappy of experiences, shall we say, which seem to occur in the Catalyst of the adept, seen from the viewpoint of the spirit, may, with the discrimination possible in shadow, be worked with until light equaling the light of brightest noon descends upon the adept and positive or service-to-others illumination has occurred." And then there is the description of the sts adept "The service-to-self adept will satisfy itself with the shadows and, grasping the light of day, will toss back the head in grim laughter, preferring the darkness." ..where a sts adept is not some evil person, but someone who chooses to still view experience as separate and not related to themselves.

STS is about finding the different things and trying to keep them different. "I Am a human, and that is a stellar nuresery for new stars. While I could fly there and become one with the nursery, I prefer my family, my friends, and my society to being a stellar nursery."
STO is about finding the things which are alike to you and trying to keep them from drifting away from you. "I believe in the unity of all things and thus prefer to see that every day in the people around me, so I progressively try to assimilate everything to be as much like me as possible." Both are of course invaluable viewpoints into reality, I believe that instead of aiming for one, one should aim for the fastest possible alteration between the two that provides the highest possible / probable outcome of as many harvested as possible. Harvestability being dependant on your ability to be of value to yourself/totality of being in a way that after you "die" you will, by default, be asked to return since you are seen as so invaluable to others that your simple departure will not be sufficient cause to not ask you to return, and or seek you out. In short, if you hate, hate without reservation, if you love, love with all your being. If you hate, hate them enough to know that you would want to spend another lifetime hating them, because they are so much fun to hate. If you love, love them enough to know that you would want to spend another lifetime loving them, because they are so much fun to love. And in that certainty of another lifetime after this to rotate the same shows and the same characters is the octave system. In the end, we can create anything we want, but its based on resonance and bias built over experience/history what kinds of charachters we want to hang around with, and what kinds we dont. Some people like to be the guy that divides the ocean and leads the slaves to freedom, and they do it with a different ocean, a different way of splitting, and a different people, but they do much the same life after life. But if the actions of life after life are influenced by this temporary life and this temporary personality so much that the life between lives is impressed enough, you will, in essence, become a harvested entity at death, because you're just so much fun of a toy to play with. Hope that makes sense That's just my musings ofc. Take it with a Salt Flat of salt.

If we prefer being the star, or one with the stellar nursery, is that STO? That would be neat to experience, all the sub-logoi under my care. Would take billions of years though for life to be suitable in a stellar nursery. I think I would prefer being the star to an individual. I can't say for sure.
