I never thought about this before, but.

What is the opinion of this community / soc-mem-complex on Eric Cartman. And more-so, the personality conveyed by him.

I find him to be a representative of a loosely connected group of people mainly stereotypical to Murica but also found elsewhere.

Tend to see him as a satirically portrayed individual harnessing this demographic as needed to convey a broad idea or develop plot within the series parameters.

Hilarious. Best character in the show by far. He is a great mirror.

Cartman is the self-indulged infant of the show.

he's contrasted quite strongly by Kyle and Stan (more self-responsibility, respect for others, thinking about the impact of actions on others before acting).

of course, impulsiveness and spontaneity can be quite amusing to watch in action Tongue

Eric Cartman is a champion of will power and manipulation.

So I Thought. I've been referred to by "friends" as being Eric Cartman-like. I rarely see these friends anymore and feel it is better that way.

I think he's my twin flame. Just kidding, well, somewhat. He's a funny duder.
