The World Resists?

Is it possible that we are encountering resistance to our methods of control and slavery? If you look at the superbugs that have evolved after all of the widespread use of antibacterials, does it sound logical that this may take place in the animal kingdom as well?

I just assumed that the swine flus and bird flus are genetically modified and released. But, if we want to assume that it is naturally occurring, then we may have to think about why it happens, and that it may just be a defense mechanism.
