Since I kind of noticed (at least the people i got to come in contact with)
that most of spiritual gifted persons are totally disinterested in politics
and kind of surrendering to whatever happens on the global politic stage
I wanted to put this into a discussion here with you my friends.

Also my experience has been that spiritual gifted people have a lot of compassion and often also a considerable amount of wisdom and analytical skill.

So I do not really get the point of being that politicphobic ...

Since it is my believe that key politic positions are supposed to being filled
by beings of good intent and wisdom, especially in order to lead us toward
    anything like a "golden age".

So if any of the 2012 shift "time" - whether it takes a few years, decades or centuries - is right - it is an important issue and also a responsibility to get much more involved in politics and the course of our societies, or education, our religious tolerance, our similarities - and i mean globally

    so what do you think?

and in order to get this realization you talk about more publically and globally known (especially in the "3rd" world)
for people to chose if they want that realization (free will + awareness) - we need (imho) people in key politic positions
right now to get this done Smile

And what you say about 3rd world leaders is absolutely true - so let's break the cycle...

i, for what it's worth, simply know if i had a chance to spread this type of information in the muslim/arab (since i can talk arabic) world
and find a way to have the people to chose freely if they want to slowly but surely move out of their relationship of guilt and scarcity in
regards to god and to realize that we are all loved and one - I am so sure there would be so so so so so so so so so....
    many people to agree

that is why I (who considers himself a wanderer as well) do bother with "short term" politics Wink

and one more thing, please, this is not intended to sound offending in any way - i really very much enjoy the discussions here -

no matter the standing point to the respective topic - luv you all

    Alex

i like your point of view Taha and i think you and also many more here would make wonderful council to this world's current beliefs - so lets see where this life and
"the universe" will lead us during this incarnation - in any case i totally share your point of view -i seem to have a little more unrest inside myself and maybe I am
being more naive - but isn't this also another way to express faith or hope Wink - i simply love the infinite creative ways of the universe/one infinite creator Smile

I must say I feel my perspective is very similar if not the same as you Taha.

I used to be 'into politics' a few years ago. Never of a personal want to go into it, but wanting to know what is happening on the world stage. More often than not I would end up feeling negative. I think it was the learning that no matter what political party you vote for, the real changes would never come, is what made me stop caring. My vote doesent even matter to put it in extremes. So this is a position of not changing anything of politics myself.

I am also aware of how good people go into politics to do good things but they always get to a certain point where they have to change thier ideas to line up with somebody/something elses. This individual would loose alot due to these experiences, but we can only assume it is part of thier experience of life. It may even be a way to facilitate STS learning, joining politics. Sounds contradictory doesn't it?

When it comes down to the conspiracy level of politics. At the end of the day this is a learning catalyst to us also. The aweful way that this world works is probably a big pointer in helping us all to awaken. If we had a 'perfect' 3D we would never progress, we would be quite comfortable knowing we don't have to do anything, as everything is good already. I feel this would lead the masses to organised religion more than it does today, becuase it would be much easier to recognise the man on a cloud, if we lived in a happier place. A simple christian theology will suffice on such a planet.

Finally the point of letting go of the cycle instead of breaking it is absolutely perfectly worded. I would say I have let go of politics. I couldent care less one way or another. Sure I may wan't to observe what is happening but I do take a very separated view of it all. Politics affects the people who still live in the materialst world. I make my own rules, laws or politics for myself on a personal level. That is all I need to do. Telling people what to do is also a desire I lack, but something which I assume is common in the poersonas of Parlament and Congress.

From where I am right now, a Gaia meditation is the best thing any of us can do to help the world around us.

I think it is apparant about myself that I'm hoping to transend the need for politics entirely with the coming shift.

1 Last note, Quo talks about a 'straw poll' on the planet, of seeing who is ready for harvest. The same difference as your top heavy analogy. It is the sessions whaich talks about the failed STS coup if you have not read it.

    Love and Light everybody.

i broadly agree with what Taha said too - funny that all of us responding to you xlsander are from the uk lol!

however i have come across several politicians, maninly at a local / scottish level, who are in it solely for the purposes of serving their constituents - and the positive impact those individuals can make to people is huge. these people are unlikely to progress within their party though, they're the oppositive of career politicians, and i do think there is a difference between party politics and politics in the wider sphere.

so if someone feels drawn to the political arena, as long as that person can be protective of their energy and remain focussed on their intentions, then i think politics can be the means for making a difference one individual at a time

Hi all, very interesting and good points made. My understanding of the political area is this its quite simple
really. Poli ticks. Many blood sucking insects if you break it down. Is a game of power brokering, making rules to deny others from making choices. Of course certain rules are important for social order, but what has been lost to is that the idea of service to others which is what public service is. Is sought out by mostly not all but mostly a service to self left brain thought pattern. The only way for it to truly change is to have people of the highest spiritual order that is repulsed by the thought of denail of others for personal benifit. The cabinet members or governments must be a place of the strictest greatest distance to fall. Imprisionment or mind pattern altering schooling to prevent the idea of service the self. And all politicians should be up for personal review every year, with a complete transparance in all areas including moneys recieved, homes, investments, charities every thing. Only with full disclosure so there can be no hiding of millions or in some cases billions of tax payer monies. In fact only only do they need transparancies everyone as well as all businesses so that they be auditied by anyone. Remember this if you want to find who is pulling the strings follow the money trail. This business of government and companies being able to hide everything and then write there own get out of jail free card is truly the biggest scam in the world. It happens everyday and people dont know or care to even change it. As what was said before its fully intrenched with people out for number 1. So my ideas are radical but are really the only way that would allow for people to be set free.

Free as in if everybody could audit the banks or there govenment or businesses the prices would fall energy would be much much cheaper, new inventions and idea allowed to come alive instead of suppressed due to bottom lines and power brokering. Spirituality would again come to the front as we would have more time to think about such things because we wouldnt need to work as much. There are a million and one things that would all be better, such as the advancement of medicine and social care it would be the golden age of man for sure.

But how do you dump a bunch of geezers who are in control of the boat and have throughly bared the door with steel paneling??

That is the trick, most think you need to jump ship and let them sail off in to the sun set with no crew on board? not really possible. I suppose you could cut off the head and replace it using the full force of the pyramid to crush all ! hmmm not sure that wold work either!

Well I will leave those ideas to smarter people than myself. I just point out what I think would be a nice change of direction.

Also everyone would need to give at least 10% of all there pay so we can start giving back to all the damaged nations and people in the world remember 90% of the world is still making less than 2 dollars a day ! think about it. We need to give back and bring balance to the system that has been so insainly stacked to one side.

Sorry for all the spelling mistakes im a bit tired and dont really feel like going through it all.

Peace and keep the ideas flowing

    Corey

This is a very good question. I don't remember the exact quotes, but I remember Ra saying something about many political leaders being predominately STS (since political positions lend themselves to the pursuit of power), with many being of mixed polarity, and a few exceptions in which the political leader was a Wanderer who took the position in order to accomplish certain important goals (Lincoln and that president whom they contacted...forgot which one...).

My interpretation of those words, coupled with Q'uo's references to the STS influence of the political leaders, is that most political leaders are generally mixed or STS, but some of them might stand out as true visionaries.

I campaigned hard last year for one such visionary. I felt very strongly that my efforts were important at the time.

I definitely don't think one has to avoid politics in order to be spiritual. I guess it all depends on what your life agenda is. I personally find doing my part to raise people's awareness on issues to be very fulfilling and important.

We can't do everything, so we do what we can. Q'uo said that if we feel compelled to get involved in a particular cause, then we probably should.

I consider involvement in causes a big part of why I'm here.
