What is it?

Ok right now I am outside in the freezing cold looking east from the west coast in the united states at the moon and to the right and slightly up I see this really freakin bright star/planet/.??? And my question is what the heck is it?

It is brighter then all the other stars and always is near the moon when I look at it through the binoculars it is very round and big more so then any planet I have seen and I get the feeling that it is something different then normal. And not being told to us from the MSM. So anyone out here able to see it what do you think it is? Anyone?

And the clouds are starting to cover it up now but it is about a hand length from the moon at a 20-30% angle if your hand is held out all the way from a sitting position. And to the right of the moon

That's the star Sirius.

Don't stars blink or twinkle? This is compleatly even and I have seen Sirius before and it is blue white and blinking and bright, this is more like a planet even and white. Are you sure that it is Sirius

It might be the clouds are dampening the twinkle or something but I don't think it is a star. If so I haven't seen a star like that before

Jupiter has been freaking a lot of people out lately.

My dad refused to believe it was a normal celestial body.

I guess that we are so used to not seeing the stars and planets that when we do it is hard to believe. Too much light in the sky and all.

Well it is passing closer to Earth than usual. The closest it will come to the Earth between 1963 and 2022.

I point out planets to family members quite frequently. Basically, they shrug and move on. ("who cares, weirdo")

I don't get it. The planets have been visible in this way for almost ten years. Back then I wondered what it was because it was like a spotlight in the sky.

Venus rose a while back and was just as visible. Does anyone wonder why the planets are so bright compared to what they were growing up? Is it just the sun putting out more energy?

Maybe it's somehow realted to all the stuff in the air from the chem trails? Or perhaps vision correction (which I can say, personally, makes a big difference). And of course mindset!

For me, though, it seems more difficult to see the stars etc now because of geography. Can't really see much from NW Indiana - too much city nearby. But when we're on the land in OK, the view is really quite amazing! You almost feel you could reach up and grab a handful of stars!

I don't see the stars like in the past. But at the same time in the past when I could see the stars, I could not see these spotlights in the sky. I am betting there is a different amount of light reflecting off the planets.
