"Plus Egyptology is cool ..."
was very intriguing to me
after really pondering about this, all - i still wonder why they care about examining the asteroids that are following earth in orbit and why they are demonstrating such ingenuity for this+ and why bring up Egyptology right away. The other current project is the is Project Orion and the Orion Spacecraft development by Lockheed Martin Space Systems, which is now since the two projects is giving NASA directly the operating missions and management.(1)
(1)"Overall management, engineering and navigation for the mission is provided by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, while the University of Arizona's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory provides principle science operations and Lockheed Martin Space Systems built the spacecraft and provides mission operations" Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSIRIS-REx
