In my opinion the STS and STO distinction is not so important after 3D. Once the decision has been made, polarization is just a matter of power. I seem to recall Ra or Qu'o saying something to this effect. But what is important, in my view, beyond 3D is STC - Service To the Creator/Creation. Once it is understood that all is one, then STS and STO distinctions are meaningless and any service rendered is rendered to the all. Maybe this doesn't fully happen until 6D.

So, beyond 3D (but perhaps not in full force until 6D) service involves being a co-creator/co-appreciator (I think that having appreciators of a creation is just as important as having creators, similar to Ra's concept of teaching/learning). I say this because everyone among us has a creative instinct that is as strong as any STO or STS instinct, but many religions de-emphasize it (some even expressly suppress it!). This is probably due to the imperative in 3D to make the choice between STO and STS.

Speaking personally, I feel that someone like Chopin allows one to realize the greatness and glory of the creator just as much as does Jesus. Jesus is all about love, but Chopin is all about glory and beauty. You can insert your favorite artist/creator here. I hypothesize that the great genius artists such as Chopin, Michaelangelo, Shakespeare, etc were 6D wanderers, who came to Earth to inspire us and show us a glimpse of the glory of the creator, just as 4D Jesus came to Earth to show us his love, and 5D Buddha came to Earth to give us wisdom.

So, if it is true that all that are drawn to this forum are wanderers, and some are from 6D, I would suggest to you that creation/appreciation is just as valuable an activity as spreading love or wisdom. Just make sure that you have polarized enough one way or the other so that you can graduate during the Harvest.

Totally agree. Sticking with composers, though I bet it goes for all facets of creativity, the ones who really push the boundaries of musical language I think are much more in tune and in touch with their Higher Selves, whether it's conscious or not. Chopin certainly knew how to get a BIG sound out of the piano (though I wonder what it sounded like on a period instrument). I think it can also extend to those who only make a few grand creations, or even only a few grand SECTIONS in larger works, while the rest of their body of work doesn't quiet stand up. For me that would be someone like Bruckner, a few mind-blowing sections (the recap of the 8th symphony for eg.) while the rest is just kind of eh.

I don't think anyone can really pinpoint what makes any particular work of art a masterpiece that stands the test of time, but I feel it has something to do with it being ahead of its time and simultaneously universal, and therefore TIMELESS! 1000 years from now, I bet some of Wagner's music will still be pretty epic. The Roman ruins will still be architectural masterpieces.

And I still won't understand how people can stare for hours at the Mona Lisa!

When you are totally engaged in your painting and sculpture, you are ONE with it. As you LOVE your creation, you love the world. You are one with your actions. The love and service is simply pouring out of you. That is a great service you can perform, probably the best service you can perform. as you are flowing with ease and grace and full of love and beauty...

Art is very selfish. That's the bottom line. It is the job of the artist to become selfless and let the masses decide for themselves what the art means to them. Our current society is focused on ME. Myself I was born an artist and haven't fully realized that until the last few years. One of my principles as an artist is always do something new so I constantly learn. If you are unhappy with the art you are creating then chances are you've come to realize you're in a rut. New wisdom, knowledge or ideas that challenge your creative thought WILL change your perspective. Perhaps the most important lesson to learn in 3D is perspective. My advice is change like a transformer. With the technology available your knowledge base is near infinite. The hardest part is finding a starting point and reading about Ra and Law of One stuff has opened your mind to the many possibilities. As a fellow creative person my best advice for the situation you have come face to face with is.....start learning how to bullshit your way through this maze of random stupidity. In other words you need to revise your fun factor and find something new that generates the feeling of fun.

But I'm a dumb blonde, by nature I'm all about fun......or that's what everyone thinks right? Start thinking differently.
