Thanking of the Other Self
Date: 15 October, Saturday
Time: 10AM EST, 3PM London, 1am (following day) Sydney
Location: Chatroom 2 - the Lounge
/ /
Theme: What the heck is the other self for? Are they just here to annoy us with their loud music, and silly talk? Or is there something deeper, more valuable about these entities that come in and out of our lives, some more deeply than others?
I would say that the other-self is the most valuable thing in life. It may seem cliched, but everything else is just a setting and a convenience by which we can experience the other-self to varying degrees; whether it be in friendships, various relationships, discussions, sharing meals, or even chatroom meditations.
The other-self is both how we learn, as well seeing what we've learned (or not learnt).
So this Meditation will be about an appreciation and an acknowledgement of the other-self; both in the general, as well as the specific.

As Ra offered:
19.13 Wrote:Thus, the weakening of the physical vehicle, as you call it, was designed to distort entities towards a predisposition to deal with each other. Thus, the lessons which approach a knowing of love can be begun.
This catalyst then is shared between peoples as an important part of each self’s development as well as the experiences of the self in solitude and the synthesis of all experience through meditation.
The quickest way to learn is to deal with other-selves. This is a much greater catalyst than dealing with the self. Dealing with the self without other-selves is akin to living without what you would call mirrors. Thus, the self cannot see the fruits of its beingness. Thus, each may aid each by reflection.
This is also a primary reason for the weakening of the physical vehicle, as you call the physical complex.
