I had a peculiar experience just now... I was playing hearthstone (an online card game) ranked play against someone else... I was totally dominating the game but it did not feel right... My opponent was playing cards that where way under rarity compared to what I was playing and I could feel his (or hers) frustration with the game. So when I had him down to 3 life and was capable of the winning blow... I told him "well played" and conceded the game, giving him the win... And I swear! I could feel his surprise and a sense of uplifting release that was worth so much more than that ultimately insignificant rank point was worth =)

Once another student and I were messing with Liquid Nitrogen in the lab and the professor walked in on us. He only saw me and got onto me about it. Instead of telling on the student, I just accepted what came. There was no punishment, I just apologized for messing with the stuff. I think we were seeing it bubble on the metal table. The student appreciated me not telling on him.

Emotions definitely radiate. Once I threw a walnut to a squirrel in an area where they pretty much subsist on garbage. It walked over to the walnut, smelled it a few times, and then suddenly I got hit by a wave of pure joy and excitement - not my own, but coming from the squirrel. It was an amazing experience.
