I'm curious as to what, if any, personal trinkets/necklaces/tattoos/etc. any of you might utilize with the intent to remind yourself of certain themes, creeds, or messages you deem important to remember everyday. I am NOT talking about motto's or mantras. I'm talking about something you keep on your body...why? Because motto's and mantra's bore me Tongue

To start it off, I use just one item. A yin-yang necklace to remind me of inner harmony.

    Godspeed!

Yes. There are so many 'signs' and 'reminders', funny thing is they have been there all the time just waiting for me to 'grasp' the significance of their message. They have been 'hidden' right in front of my eyes.
I started to collect crystals long before I realised their role in this adventure.
Books also. Some I had never read have just 'jumped' out the bookshelf at the 'correct' time.
A tatoo, as an expression of pure intent made manifest could indeed contain 'clues' pertaining to the Life Mission. I don't have one, as yet.
For me the turning point was learning to look 'within' instead of 'outside`the Self.

I have a tattoo I got over 20 years ago, a Celtic band on my right arm. This has interlocking links symbolizing how all of life is interlinked, and the center piece of it is an "L" for the word love. I had it re-done less than two years ago.

I have a question. How do you remember to remember about this necklace, so that it can remind you? It is kind of like catch 22...That has been my problem...BigSmile

VERRRRY simple answer for that. I put it on top of my wallet so I never forget it when I leave the house.

    -Godspeed!

Turtle, I have a medicine bag that I made years ago and put symbols of my journey in. I haven't opened it for a long time and can't remember what is in it, except for some coyote hair. I also have a tattoo on my left calf of a symbol drawn by a shaman friend who has taught me much and healed me several times.

    Blessings.

I have "Love" tattooed on one arm and "Light" tattooed on the other in fiber optics which are connected to a battery near my kidney. (Replacing the battery is a you know what.)

That is true save for the fiber optic part. (Wouldn't that be fantastic to light your body up with fiber optics?)

"Love" and "Light" are represented on my arms in Kanjii. I've wanted a third, spiritually-oriented tattoo for a long time but have not known what to get. Thought about getting Picasso's "Don Quixote" for its obvious connection to L/L Research.

To what extent do they help me keep my focus? I would say very little. Like many reminders I have employed over the years, then tend to blend into the scenery and become invisible.

Incidentally, an individual wrote L/L Research recently saying that he got the cartouches from the covers of the Law of One books tattooed onto himself! He did not reply to my request for pictures tho.

Explanation by the tongue makes most things clear, but love unexplained is clearer. - Rumi

I don’t wear any jewelry other than a gold wedding band. Not even a watch…got rid that several years ago when I found myself incessantly checking the damn thing every few minutes to make sure I was on time..for anything, everything. In 3rd Density and in the maintenance of gainful employment, you still need to be aware of time. But you don’t need to be a time slave 24/7. Tatoos?….never had any inclination towards those.

Reminders then? Its mental mostly…just a mental nudge to self…to reminding myself that each moment of now present a variety of choices. So many of those choices are automatic as we wend our way through life. But being aware of…STO/STS…has made me hesitate more than once and consider the choices…in a few microseconds…of a cross word to a loved one or… letting someone merge in traffic..or…holding a door for a total stranger..or a smile to someone even if you are having a bad day..or..well, whatever.

This may be out there but how about this- 'Let every breath you take be a reminder.'

I have seen different reminders work for a little bit but then again you become immune to those and eventually forget them... But breath is something you always have and even if you remember only part of the time it would be beneficial to you...

I ask my guides to remind me of something later and that most of the time works. When I wear a crystal, it's for a specific energetic purpose. Not usually for forgetting.
