So I recently was looking into solfeggio harmonics again and was wondering if any of you have any experience?

I was really wondering if it'd be a good idea to play the different frequencies while working at my office? Kind of to where it's just background music all day.

    Thanks!

I have 2 recordings on my Ipod by Jonathan Goldman that use the solfeggio scale. But he uses them quite a bit. You can sample some of them here.

I use "Waves of Light" and "Holy Harmony".

These are excellent! You can find simple frequency meditations on Youtube which are beneficial to meditate with. I enjoy starting with the lowest tone and making my way up through the frequencies.

It is most advisable to use headphones when listening, and if you can harmony two of the tones, one in each ear, then even better. However, it is still effective to use them simply through speakers.

I haven't gone looking but believe I've seen recording with frequencies that enhance your ability to focus, or to ennergize you. I would think you'd be fine playing any of these as work background as long as they don't put you to sleep.

I'm somewhat familiar with the binaural beats, and have been familiar with the work of Dr. Jeffrey Thompson (http://www.neuroacoustic.com/). In fact, I heard him speak in Virginia in the 70's, and owned one of his first recordings on vinyl album! I also have a cassette tape with a "healing sound" from a Sylva Method course I took in the 80's that has helped me in many ways over the years.

But I had not heard the Solfeggio Harmonics term, and I LOVE IT! Thank you so much for sharing this, or reviving the topic. and thank you, Namaste, for posting the youtube link. This is helpful and useful to me!

    Light and love!

By and large, a strange history surrounds the conventions of musical scales and tuning standards. I'm persuaded by a book which generally examines tuning-origins. It examines both primordial and also to recent periods. Where, why and how tunings came to exist... Very highly recomended!

This pdf book presents some of fascinating history, ideas, research and theory:
The_Book_of_528_e-Edition.pdf I think i paid a few dollars for the full text download. The following link seems to be a sample:
    http://ebookbrowse.com/the-book-of-528-e...-d76464603

For free listening samples... Here is a web-radio-station which has kindly shifted the frequencies, of many popular tunes ...
    http://528records.com/radio

In your opinion, are the tunes different, same, what?

Are you asking if the 528 tunes on the radio station sound different from the originals? I listened briefly, but didn't hear anything I'm familiar enough with to answer that. I will say that when I listen to the 528 frequency I "feel" something, a sort of vibration and clearing of the mind.

    Light & love!

Aha This radio station is pretty wacky! 528 has such a mystical tone to it.

    Thank you, _X7! Smile

For the technically interested from their website:
Quote:Many different algorithms have been developed to change the pitch of digital music tracks. The one used by 528Records.com works by speeding up the music a tiny bit, thus making compositions slightly shorter, but unnoticeable to listeners. The music starts to play faster with the coefficient Epsilon=444/440. This transposition also shifts the pitch of the music in the most efficient way because:

    - it does not introduce any noise or artifacts in the music;
    - it is very simple and reliable;
    - it works super fast--essential for Internet applications used simultaneously by many people.
And here is an audio comparison.

With 528 energy flows better up my spine (more tingling) and you're right, Ruth, somehow the mind feels a bit 'clearer' or expanded.

On my MP3 player I have some songs from Source Vibrations and the Album Sequencia from Susan Alexjander.
Last year I listened a lot to these but cannot say whether they have any effect besides the slight 'upliftment' when listening.

A good decade ago I listened to Sound Therapy for the Walkman --- classic music filtered in a way that it sounds like a fetus in the uterus would hear it, if I remember correctly. A develepment of a discovery by ENT-physician Dr. Tomatis.

Listened daily to it for at least two hours during half a year. But it had no effect on my bogged-downness. Thanks to Georgi Stankov I know now, that that's related to the light body process.

Glad for all your interest, thanks everyone. ^__^ There actually does seem to be a lot to consider concerning solfeggio history. With 398 pages of referenced material... The_Book_of_528_e-Edition explains significant worldly turmoil in this fashion: (Quotes follow)

Pg 119: ..."Figure 17 details the Illuminati’s satanic agenda for which 2-8% of youth would “Turn On” to drugs, “Tune In” to A=440Hz and the media’s deadly messages, and “Drop Out” of LOVE, altruism, discernment, and the exercise of free will to engage a murderous cult. These drop outs, psycho-spiritually impaired by the overwhelming “social experiment,” advanced cultural degeneration, leading to what is happening now─profitable depopulation...."

PG XIX: "....528, as you will soon learn, is among the most powerful creative sounds and light frequencies. So if Satan intended to outfox God, he would certainly abuse God’s most miraculous frequency and creative technology to enslave humanity. This is precisely what has happened...."

This abracadabra is interesting, (first visit for me) so i site-searched 528 etc....

Amazing that there seems to be a little contemporary war around soffegio tunings.

    STS vs STO ?

Ruth, I really wish there was a clearer answer and basis for discussing this. I searched a few names found in (too many) posts along with the term "528" in order to see: "what are the talking points concerning differing solfeggio scales". I was surprised to ascertain that some considerable mischief is asserted. Perhaps relating to the bigger picture of the cosmic competition for souls in our times? I wonder.

This article was among the more alarming:

Thank you _X7 - I see what you mean now. I tend not to worry too much about such conspiracies. I think they are an inherent part of life as we know it.

I'm still thankful to you for pointing out the solfeggio harmonics. It has been helpful and enlightening for me.

    Love and light my friend!

Forgotten In Time: The Ancient Solfeggio Frequencies (good read on this)

Hour-long meditation videos of some Solfeggio frequencies

    528Hz DNA Frequency
    741 Hz DNA Frequency
    852Hz DNA Frequency

MI – 528 Hz – Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair)
    SOL – 741 Hz – Awakening Intuition
LA – 852 Hz – Returning to Spiritual Order

Gonna go meditate to these now. Cool
Also, in addition to the first six frequencies (396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852), an additional three more Solfeggio frequencies were reportedly discovered by Dr Leonard Horowitz: 174, 285, and 963.

    You'll notice that all of the frequencies are triplets of the same number. 5, 2, 8 - 4, 1, 7 - 6, 3, 9

    417
    528
    639

417: Start with 1, then add 3, then add three again. Same applies for 528, starting with 2, and 639, starting with 3. In other words, they are harmonic in scale.

Just for fun, count from 1 to 9 and observe the pattern/movement :¬)

I'm with you, Oceania! I just know that listening to the music of the different frequencies makes me feel good.

I kind of see what Azrael and Namaste are saying about the repeating patterning of 3, I just don't "get" why it is important to understand that. Any help y'all?
