The passage that has been of most help to me is:
Questioner: For the general development of the reader of this book, could you state some of the practices or exercises to perform to produce an acceleration toward the Law of One? Ra: I am Ra. Exercise One. This is the most nearly centered and useable within your illusion complex. The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion or density. The exercise is to consciously seek that love in awareness and understanding distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of the life-experience of an entity. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking powers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third. As with the previous type of empowerment, there will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that, as before, the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential. Exercise Two. The universe is one being. When a mind/body/spirit complex views another mind/body/spirit complex, see the Creator. This is an helpful exercise. Exercise Three. Gaze within a mirror. See the Creator. Exercise Four. Gaze at the creation which lies about the mind/body/spirit complex of each entity. See the Creator. The foundation or prerequisite of these exercises is a predilection towards what may be called meditation, contemplation, or prayer. With this attitude, these exercises can be processed. Without it, the data will not sink down into the roots of the tree of mind, thus enabling and ennobling the body and touching the spirit.

My favorite passage is from Session 65 (emphasis added):
Quote:We may note at this point while you ponder the possibility/probability vortices that although you have many, many items which cause distress and thus offer seeking and service opportunities, there is always one container in that store of peace, love, light, and joy. This vortex may be very small, but to turn one’s back upon it is to forget the infinite possibilities of the present moment. Could your planet polarize towards harmony in one fine, strong, moment of inspiration? Yes, my friends. It is not probable; but it is ever possible. This is my dream of how to achieve a grander Harvest. 3D Sunset __________________________________________________________ Postscript: I just noticed after the post that the time was 12:12. What a fun synchronicity!

I love that line: "Could your planet polarize towards harmony in one fine, strong, moment of inspiration? Yes, my friends. It is not probable; but it is ever possible." So profound! It is my dream as well.
I love all the quotes posted so far. I'm so glad Ra added that little aside about "one fine, strong moment" -- it makes it seem so possible.
Other quotes I love: The poker game: This game can only be won by those who lose their cards in the melting influence of love, can only be won by those who lay their pleasures, their limitations, their all upon the table face up and say inwardly: “All, all of you players, each other-self, whatever your hand, I love you.” Consider this well: (This quote has reassured me countless times that the meandering path my life seems to be taking is as it should be.) Consider, if you will, the path your life-experience complex has taken. Consider the coincidences and odd circumstances by which one thing flowed to the next. Consider this well. Each entity will receive the opportunity that each needs. Unfettered tread: However, the entity who penetrates intelligent infinity is basically capable of walking the universe with unfettered tread. (Something to aspire to ) And the one my user name is taken from: Step by step: ("βαθμιαίος" in Greek, according to babelfish To the disciplined entity, all things are open and free. The discipline which opens the universes opens also the gateways to evolution. The difference is that of choosing either to hitchhike to a place where beauty may be seen or to walk, step by step, independent and free in this independence to praise the strength to walk and the opportunity for the awareness of beauty.

God, there are too many quotes to fall in love with... they are like songs from an awesome album, some days track 2 is the best song i've ever heard, some days track 5 is the best song i've ever heard, and some days I'd rather not listen to music. : ) Here is a small nugget that I absolutely love from Session 40: Quote:Thus self reveals self to self. my favorites are both from the 1st session:
i like reading this one when i wake up: 'In truth there is no right or wrong. There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things. You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things. You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One." i like reading this one before i go to sleep: "Let us for a moment consider thought. What is it, my friends, to take thought? Took you then thought today? What thoughts did you think today? What thoughts were part of the original thought today? In how many of your thoughts did the creation lie? Was love contained? And was service freely given? You are not part of a material universe. You are part of a thought. You are dancing in a ballroom in which there is no material. You are dancing thoughts. You move your body, your mind, and your spirit in somewhat eccentric patterns for you have not completely grasped the concept that you are part of the original thought." peace, mikey

And, I just added my other fav quote to my signature. Yeah, I know, I'm not being very original here...I'm at least the 3rd or 4th person here to have it in my sig...but what can I say? It bears repeating! Maybe seeing it in all our sigs will help us attain that one, fine moment of inspiration!

T1 is very devoted to the study of your words, Q’uo, and will be very happy to receive your responses. I will move on to the next question. C writes: “While I read the Q’uo material I often feel very touched in my heart. During one meditation I heard those of Q’uo talk to me and say, “We are your distant future.” I really want to know if those of Q’uo are connected with me in a deeper way.” We are those of Q’uo, and are aware of your query. The query has elements that would infringe upon the Law of Confusion [3] and so we shall content ourselves with observing that in many cases those entities who are drawn to the energies and the vibrations that underlie and surround the words that we offer through this instrument are what this instrument would call wanderers. For a wanderer the Earth is indeed the home, the native land, and it is well to adopt it and embrace it fully. Yet, those who come from elsewhere, especially those who have incarnated in the latest wave of wanderers which we would call indigo children, even the adults, there is a distinct overlay of nearly hidden but discernable memory of a different time, a different place, and different conditions, where hearts were indeed undefended and where compassion held sway. Each wanderer has relinquished any claim upon that long-ago and distant home that was elsewhere, in order that it may fully commit with zeal, honesty and integrity to the mission of lightening the consciousness of Planet Earth, one thought at a time, not changing others but simply working to change the self. However, there are always friends from home who may stop by to say hello, and it can safely be said that many of those who listen to the words of the Ra group, the Hatonn group, and the Latwii group, that altogether make up the Q’uo group, will find friends and relations among those that speak. May we ask if there is a further query, my brother?" http://www.llresearch.org/transcripts/is..._0927.aspx Something deep within me stirred when I read that one and I go back to it time and time again. Good thread. Here are my two favorites, though the one where Ra talks about exercises is also a favorite of mine.
18.5: Quote:The proper role of the entity is in this density to experience all things desired, to then analyze, understand, and accept these experiences, distilling from them the love/light within them. Nothing shall be overcome. That which is not needed falls away. The above provides the entire framework, in my opinion, for what it means to forgive and accept the self. 6.7: Quote: The dissolution into nothingness is the dissolution into unity, for there is no nothingness. The above is a very succinct description of what it means to be an individuated portion of consciousness within a conscious Creation.

Monica, this is what I meant in my first post on bias thread, and on post I just made this evening. II & III are what I was talking about, and what I meant when I clarified it matters not order and is an ebb flow between and simultaneous...each creating an increase and feedback/empowerment of the other. Each incomplete without the other...All is One. L&L
Oopsie, I forgot to quote Monica...refering to the II and III excercises of see creator in others and in mirror

I like the sign-off word "Adonai", it seems uncommonly used and also seems to contain a sense of mystery that I find intriguing.

Found in Session 65:
Quote:That you will breakfast is close to certain. The menu is your own choosing. Actually, excellent, the "one strong moment" quote is also in this session! To be honest, that is absolutely what I expect to happen. Like a big spiritual orgasm in the mass consciousness.

As is usual every experience will be individualistic, however, the rapidity by which individual experiences will happen will also trigger a mass experience. We are on the advent of the formation of social memory complexes, I think it's inevitable that there will be some event that will breach the individual scale. The question at this point is as Ra states, whether or not it will be "bellicose".
07-18-2011, 05:37 PM
I don't know. I've heard sources that say 2012 is the critical mass point. But it feels like energy is building so much that it could happen sooner, at least I'm hoping so. I wonder if I can create my own reality that strongly as to sort of orchestrate my ascension experiences.
07-18-2011, 05:38 PM
I'm gauging that before the end of the year there will be a break through the "membrane".
