From Christmas through the end of May, I struggled with a terrible pernicious insomnia; I hardly got any sleep at all, often not sleeping for 3 nights in a row, and getting only an hour or two when I did manage to sleep. Since hot weather has come, I am experiencing the opposite; I can hardly wake up.

This week I have felt "blah". Monday especially, I couldn't get motivated if I tried. I was moving at a snails pace. My shoulders feel a bit weak, like they don't have the strength to keep the socket together.
Very tired, but I've taken up coffee again, and I overdo it. It could be do to NBA Finals. My team lost Sunday night. I'm wired after the game too, affecting my sleep pattern.

I think that I needed less of it lately, but I am not sure, because I think that if you ask people how their sleeping pattern has been with a mystical approach most of us would start to imagine that it is indeed has been a little bit odd lately, especially when it comes to spiritual people seeing signs everywhere, and I am not even talking about weirdos believing in aliens and flying saucers. j/k
Why, unity, what did you now find out?

Are trying out some Remote Viewing Voodoo on us, unity100?

No change here. Although I've noticed I've become more comfortable with 9 hours of sleep a night. That's a lot!
My friend has reported recently that long, vivid nightmares that "hit too close to home" have been robbing him of lots of sleep. Also, the huge geomagnetic storm that you made us aware of earlier seems to have died down now: http://www2.nict.go.jp/y/y223/simulation/realtime/

A few of my friends are experiencing nightmares like this, as well as randomly recovering repressed memories. None of them have any interest in walking a path of self-discovery; most fill all of their time with silly distractions. I am certain, at least in the case of my friends, that this is the 4D vibrations forcing them to know themselves, and they aren't handling it well at all. They listen to me and somewhat converse about the spiritual and metaphysical principles at play, but none of them have motivation or...courage...to spend 5 minutes sitting in silence instead of watching Family Guy. Knowing I can't help anyone who doesn't want to be helped, they are being removed further and further from my reality, freeing up my energy and time to work on making real-world changes with real-world implications. It's somewhat of a relief, and in the end I know they'll be okay...most likely be ushered on to another 3D planet after this incarnation...but I must admit I'm somewhat sad that none of them chose to walk this path with me.

I feel like I'm an "empath" (y'all's term) for Dirk N. If there is a new set of 4D coming in, I'm not handling it very well. I don't feel good mommy.

my sleeping patterns have always been weird, there are seasons where i sleep during the day only, and then periods where i can't stay awake past 10 pm and periods where i have naps instead of sleep and periods where i sleep for 14 hours easy and after i quit school i refuse to ever again subject myself to such torture as having to wake up the same time like a robot, i sleep organically. that's how i stay somewhat sane. other people breathe, i sleep.
lately it's been very deep sleep, detailed involved dreams and many of them but then they go fuzzy and i can't remember. also increased need for sleep ithink but i can't be sure since i can't tell how much time has passed. i just seem to be sleepy a lot if i don't sleep a whole lot. but i can't tell. how do people know, do you guys check the time obsessively?

Look at us. All excited to explain our sleep patterns for an unknown cause. Lol.
So, uh, what are y'all in the mood to eat for dinner?
then again increased sleepiness is a part of PMS. so maybe that's why, i guess it's easier for guys to keep tabs. part of my sleep pattern is muddied by am... uh, that thing with iron loss. anemia. yeah that's it. stupid anemia. at the same time i am feeling so excited about *something* that i don't like sleeping anymore! it's like something is coming and... i dunno. i need sleep. i also hate going to sleep because i hate the shift between sleep and awake so i wait until the last moment where i fall asleep involuntarily. same thing in the morning. can't wake until i've exhausted sleep. it's like i push both to the extremes so it changes automatically and i don't need to make a decision to go from one to the other. it's too confusing to tell if there's any oddities. :/ sorry.
how about you unity? any sleep issues? of course we are! sleeping is a fascinating subject. sleeping is very dear to my heart.

ill join in quickly. for about 2 years now ive been very tired all the time. on the weekends all i do is sleep. i could go to bed at 9pm (which i often do) and sleep all the way through til 6am every day. on the weekends i sleep probably 12-16 hours a day. if i try to stay awake my head gets all cloudy and i cant concentrate.. its annoying..

why? :/

My sleep pattern has always been erratic. I have to get up for work at a certain time every morning, so I try to go to bed at a reasonable time, but that doesn't often happen. Some nights I might get 5 or 6 hours of sleep, some nights I might come home, crash and sleep for 12-13 hours. Sometimes I sleep like a log and sometimes I toss and turn all night. Occasionally I will have insomnia and get very little sleep period, and at times I pretty much do nothing but sleep. It usually just feels like there isn't enough time for sleep. I rarely go to bed satisfied that I got anything worthwhile done...there's always more to do.

I have been sleeping much more than usual since the beginning of this month. Before this, I would be pretty happy with 6-7 hours, usually with a wake-up break in the middle of it.
It could be the new baby, but lately i've been dozing off at 11pm and sleeping till 8am... almost 150% more sleep than what has been normal for the last few years... My dreams have been very jarring as well, but I can never remember them. I always get a feeling that something big is about to happen, and i'm dealing with the bullshit in anticipation tho... and I feel i'm often reliving aspects of my current life in these dreams... Anyways, short answer is yes. Since June 1st, i've had quite different sleep patterns.

babies will certainly do that

My sleeping pattern has changed insofar as I sometimes sleep later in the morning these days and there are interesting very vivid and colorful dreams during that morning sleep.

For some reason my body heats up very rapidly around 2am~3am... I sweat alot during this period and wake up due to the whole feeling being uncomfortable. I've been experiencing this for the past 3 weeks or so... very annoying and unable to sleep until the sun comes up.
06-09-2011, 04:20 AM
That is interesting Xenos! I heard that 2 or 3 in the morning is a good time for intuitive insight or connecting with our Higher self. Did you have some of that as well?
Heat I would interpret as extra energy. Maybe you are in fact "receiving" something during that time?
06-09-2011, 04:22 AM
I think the energy I'm receiving is more "baseline", as in from earth or somewhere of a more "reddish" tint.
That's how I perceive it to me, but i haven't really tried meditating or anything like that during that period... It's just really uncomfortable and hard to sleep with.

Also thyroid gland irregularities could cause nocturnal sweat. But then you would have to have other symptoms as well, I guess.
06-09-2011, 05:16 AM
I am always FREEZING during the day, and freezing when I go to bed at night, but I wake up first thing of a morning burning up and sweating in bed too!! I never thought of it being a nocturnal thing but maybe it is..
