Hello everyone!
I recently moved apartments. My old apartment had a very bad roach infestation, and guess what I just saw in one of my kitchen cabinets....
My initial reaction was one of anger and frustration. I do not like these pesky little pests! They are gross and unsanitary and terribly hard to get rid of !
As I talked myself into a storm of frustration, I realized the catalyst of it all. I dont have to react this way. I don't like these little creatures to have so much power over me, I mean they are just looking for some free food and water afterall. But at the same time, I do not want a full on roach infestation, and I am desperately hoping that I did not just move into one.
Anyways, any of you all have experience with roaches? I can't help but feel like the roaches following me is some sort of catalyst in action. I am a self-proclaimed ~animal lover~ but can't extend it to our little six-legged friends? SOunds like a fraud to me, hahah. Any spiritually neutral ways to rid myself of this burden? Peaceful remediation?
I've read that herbs like catnip and bay leaf act as natural repellants. I don't want to angrily kill these things like I used to. But I don't want to see them in my cabinets either ! AHHHHH !
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
