Which Bible parables made an impression on you?

The parables have always been my favourite part of the gospels, ever since I was a kid. This is naturally what Ra meant when they said Jesus spoke "as through a veil" for those not wishing to hear. They have also been huge inspiration for artists throughout the ages.

Which parables have made the biggest impression on you, growing up? And do you think people interpret them very differently, or do you think there is relative consensus as to their meanings?

Yeah that's a nice one. I would say mine are the Prodigal Son, the mustard seed and the farmer scattering seed.

Matthew 13:10-13

His disciples came and asked him, “Why do you use parables when you talk to the people?”

He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. I remember the farmer scattering seeds had made a strong impression, maybe why I quoted a part of it : "let them who have ears hear..."

The parable of the talents always seemed like an odd situation of the rich getting richer since im more of a keep my coin in the dirt kinda guy, but seniority of vibration is a thing apparently

That parable also bothered me greatly when I was a child. It just seemed a bit harsh to me. But upon reflection, don't you think it links to this:

The lessening of the life span was due primarily to the lack of the building up of positive orientation. When there is no progress those conditions which grant progress are gradually lost. Not to enter into yet another disagreement with you, Herald, but I don't acknowledge those words coming out of Jesus' mouth... I consider it tampering.

Questioner: Can you tell me about what percentage is Orion-influenced in both the Old and the New Testaments?

Such statements would be construed by some of those who may read this material as judgmental. We can only suggest a careful reading and inward digestion of the contents. I saw this funny joke a while back!

A new monk arrives at the monastery. He is assigned to help the other monks in copying the old texts by hand. He notices, however, that they are copying copies, and not the original books.

So, the new monk goes to the head monk to ask him about this. He points out that if there was an error in the first copy, that error would be continued in all of the other copies. The head monk says, "We have been copying from the copies for centuries, but you make a good point, my son."

So, he goes down into the cellar with one of the copies to check it against the original. Hours later, nobody has seen him. So, one of the monks goes downstairs to look for him. He hears sobbing coming from the back of the cellar and finds the old monk leaning over one of the original books crying. He asks what's wrong.

"The word is... celebrate!" says the old monk with tears in his eyes.

If we consider the possibility that for whatever reason these two stories weaved their way through the cracks to modern day translations...

Luke says the invitation comes "at the hour of the feast”, so if they are plowing fields or doing other things, no problem, they won’t be there.

To this feast any man or woman even, the farthest stretches of civilization are compelled to “attend". This is our conscience.

When the masses followed him stepping he turned sharply- and reminded them that unless they were willing to give up their pursuits in the third density they should not be focusing on heaven.

Building a tower, or going to war are used as examples that appealed to the people as great undertakings, even peace. Getting into heaven, literally "the heaved up", is a very great wish, to be handled with careful consideration in many different ways.

In Matthew, we see the need for the higher spiritual body, the “garment”.
The parable opens with those invited, those in the elite class who had access to the information about spiritual transformation being portrayed as unwilling to “attend”.

The wanderers such as Socrates and other messengers such as Ra had come before and their information was distorted and many were put to death.
The failed STS path is portrayed here as karma rolls back against their murderers.

However, the one who gets kicked out of the feast wasn’t evil, he simply didn’t have the proper garment, which represents the taking on of the vestments, which is one’s investment in the inner life.
It is also of note that at the time two things were common: Belief in reincarnation, and wedding hosts passing out garments to guests.

So those who had ears understood that to get off the karmic wheel one must focus on that very wish at all times and invest ones attention. Maybe not so for wanderers, but surely apt for third dimensional spiritual evolution.

I like your interpretation, Herald, it's insightful. Words are important though, I take issue with these specific words:

These are not the words an STO entity would speak. This parable might very well tie into these words by Ra:

Questioner: Just two. With respect to what you just said, would then people incarnating here by seniority of vibration who incarnate for the service-to-self path be ones who would have extreme difficulty mentally with this green-ray vibration?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. It is rather the numbers who have distracted themselves and failed to prepare for this transition yet who are somewhat susceptible to its influence who may be affected.

Nevertheless, it has been tampered with, most likely by a very controlling Catholic church, who ruled for centuries with an iron fist.

Ra: This game can only be won by those who lose their cards in the melting influence of love; can only be won by those who lay their pleasures, their limitations, their all upon the table face up and say inwardly: “All, all of you players, each other-self, whatever your hand, I love you.” This is the game: to know, to accept, to forgive, to balance, and to open the self in love.

There is never separation in a positive message, whenever you see that, you know the source is negative.

which is perfect support for the essence of the parable I quoted from Luke and Matthew.  I did not come up with these ideas, I hope I haven’t given that impression.

The issue of difficulty in the incarnation during the transition is not that one is STO or STS (good and evil in the quote), but that one is distracted-in the parable, being in the fields, on business or with family... and unprepared- not donning a garment.
What we are distracted by in the parable is food production, work and family- not debauchery and sin. Does this mean work and family are bad?- No, they are in the middle. They are fine. You may actually incorporate them into your work as catalyst to become harvestable.

There is nothing wrong with one’s "father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters and yes, even his life”, but they are not concepts retained in the fourth dimension.Separation is not the way of the social complex. If one is unwilling, not ready, or otherwise occupied, there is no judgement, but do not tag along and interfere with those who are already doing this work, who have given up possessions (third dimensional concepts).

Of course, the freewill of every soul is to be respected, but Jesus encourages separation of souls, which is the wonderous and splendid reality of this third dimensional experience.  
This separation is so complete that not even one guest who participates will be unprepared. In the parable it is made absolutely clear, that everyone is invited. The “garment” is code for the investment an individual makes towards developing an inner state that is independent of 3D reality. (As I mentioned earlier, the use of the wedding garment may be misleading in modern times, but garments were supplied by the host in those days).

The half-hearted attempt at pursuing these ideas with others, reclining with the guests, without wearing the garment- (interfering), can of course, be used as catalyst, for transitional work- again no judgement. Any injury caused by this however, we see in the parable is not to the guests, but only to the one who is not genuinely ready, but pretends.
All is one and the card game parable of Ra, where everyone loves everyone is calming- but also in the parable the game spans one’s entire lifetime. You must give it up to move on. You must say "all of these things I have been holding onto and deeming important must now be declared worthless" and put them down.

On 51:  For me the key word here is "you", applying to the hearer. "YOU" do not know it. We can't be sure of the emphasis.

On 77 :  The key word there is "I". It should mean "I" from the perspective of the hearer, not just the speaker. "I" am the light, etc.

55-57 : Jesus said, "Whoever does not hate father and mother cannot be my disciple, and whoever does not hate brothers and sisters, and carry the cross as I do, will not be worthy of me."

Jesus said, "Whoever has come to know the world has discovered a carcass, and whoever has discovered a carcass, of that person the world is not worthy."

Jesus said, "The Father's kingdom is like a person who has [good] seed. His enemy came during the night and sowed weeds among the good seed. the Camel and the Needle is a good one.

The "Camel and the eye of the needle" is part of a conversation that Jesus was having with a man who had followed all of God’s commandments was asking about eternal life.

From Luke 18 @ 22 Literal Berean Version

On hearing this, Jesus told him, “You still lack one thing: Sell everything you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

But when the ruler heard this, he became very sad, because he was extremely wealthy.

Seeing the man’s sorrow, Jesus said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God. Indeed, it is easier for a camel to pass through an eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?”

Jesus said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

Look,” said Peter, “we have left everything we had to follow You.”

“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times more at the proper time—and in the age to come, eternal life.”



This parable has a number of associated nuances, and is told in three gospels. Some teachers will say that Jesus refers to camel hair and a carpet needle, some say the “eye” was a difficult area for travel because of thieves, and then others say it was the night-entry gate to the city of Jerusalem, where a camel would have to kneel to enter. All of these explanations give the rich man some hope of eternal joy.

My personal view is that Jesus meant a real camel and a real needle. These were common terms and there was clearly a crowd around him. The metaphor is similar to an earlier aphorism about en elephant and a needle’s eyelet. It should be noted that a reply by the crowd is included in all three versions. My impression is that Jesus was using some theatre here, as obviously the man was earnest. It is the crowd who defends the man’s wealth, having been in a culture that associated wealth with God’s grace. "Who then can be saved?”, they cry, setting up the next line for Jesus about the impossible becoming possible, which hints at the 4th D transition.

Again here is the radical notion of giving up everything of this world to “follow” the rabbi.

There is a version of the betrayal of Jesus that readers may not know, so while I have a moment I will share it here. The version takes into account the imminent capture of Jesus, as there were not enough places to hide such a group of men. What occurred during the Last Supper was a ritual that enabled the higher bodies of Jesus to mingle with those of his disciples. Judas Iscariot, being the most advanced of his students, was selected to forgo the ritual, in order to find the Romans and delay them until the "supper" could be completed.
In this version there is no betrayal, and there is not the uncomfortable situation where Jesus knows all the time that his best friend rats on him.

This parable tells a story to two different groups of people. On the surface is says to be prepared, which is always good advice. Looking deeper we see the oil as a metaphor, as in the anointing with oil which is the root of the word "christ". The anointing ritual is also one which contains a deeper meaning. It is the activation of the energy centers with the sacred fluids that are produced in the brain. A kind of "heaving up" it was called.

The number ten shows that the virgins represent everyone, and half are completely unprepared.They did not bring oil. It is not expensive, or difficult to obtain, the problem is that was put off. The light is provided not only by the lamp, but also by this oil, for each individual to see on her own the "bridegroom" she awaits. The bridegroom may represent transformation to 4D, especially when considering the possibility that he will marry only one virgin.
It is clear however that without this oil when the time comes- there is no chance of entry, for the door is shut and entry is barred.

And having gone, he joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs. And he was longing to fill his belly from the pods that the pigs were eating, and no one was giving to him.

But having come to himself, he was saying, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have abundance of bread, but here I am perishing with hunger? Having risen up, I will go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; no longer am I worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your servants.”’

And having risen up, he went to his father. And he still being far distant, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and having run, fell upon his neck and kissed him.

And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; no longer am I worthy to be called your son.’

This parable seems to be about being nice to someone who has gone through a rough patch and expresses remorse. It is, however one of the richest with information of Jesus, that appears in the bible. Their are four main players: The Master, his servants, and the older and younger brothers. The Master is either the Logos or the sixth density, and the son who stays with him is symbolic of the fifth. The servants represent the fourth density illusion, and the younger brother who takes what is allotted him, and goes away "into a distant country” symbolizes the third dimensional human existence. We see that this son "was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found”.

He spends his resources quickly and the country itself falls to famine as is the lot of so many throughout Earth's history. We see the 3D reality of the citizen who presumably has no want, but gives food to pigs (unclean beasts), instead of our subject.
When he thus has experienced his due catalyst, the prodigal son cries out for the Master and the higher worlds, asking for only the equal of the servants (in the density of love).
The Master can hear him as he approaches, and upon arrival he is greeted with a robe, representing the higher body, and the fattened calf, representing use of the higher energies.
It is left to the fifth density son to reason the value of the 3D experience in order to properly integrate the family and the mansion, reunited, as he balks at the celebration. At the end it is repeated that the prodigal son has indeed been “dead" and “lost”, or perhaps just wandering behind the veil of forgetting.

The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree

“A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit on it, and not did find any. And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Behold, throughout these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and do not find any. Therefore cut it down! Why even should it use up the ground?’

And answering, he says to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I shall dig around it, and put in manure, and if indeed it should bear fruit in the time, so be it. But if not, you will cut it down.’”


The fig tree is used in other parables and can easily be connected with the Earth human species.

Also, in the time of Jesus, everyone believed in reincarnation, though the concept of Heaven was relatively new.

Though the parable uses three years, this number fits better than two, both practically, and numerologically, as three indicates direction, and four stability.

The compassion of the fourth density is contrasted with the coldness of the Master, which is in this case the Logos, and the Saturn Council, allowing the Vinedresser, or gardeners, to have yet another cycle- or season.

This time, the wanderers, and mid-density “angels” would work diligently as aptly described, digging in around the fig tree, and removing all that is inert around it, and adding in manure, which is catalyst.

The Son of Man is each mind body spirit complex.

The field is the world but the good seed is the children of the Kingdom and the tares are the children of The Evil One.

The children being the thoughts and actions, and the Evil one is the Ego.

The enemy who sowed them is Satan, but the harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are the Angels.

The use of Satan, suggests the Orion influence on Earth

Therefore, just as the tares are gathered and burn in the fire, so it will be in the end of this world. The Son of Man will send his Angels and they will select from his Kingdom all of those stumbling blocks and all of those evil doers. they will cast them into the essence of fire; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. the righteous will shine as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Whoever has an ear that will hear, let him hear.

The stumbling blocks are different from the evildoers, they are our own “weeds” in the garden of our lives, these being influenced by the negative entities. They must be removed first. The essence of fire is the burning off of karma, and the wheat is transformed into food for the harvest.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan Luke 10 @ 25

And behold, a certain lawyer stood up, testing Him, saying, “Teacher, what having done, will I inherit eternal life?”

And He said to him, “What has been written in the Law? How do you read it?”

And answering, he said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind and Your neighbor as yourself.”

And He said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this and you will live.”

But desiring to justify himself, he said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

Jesus having taken it up, then said, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, who both having stripped him and having inflicted wounds, went away having left him half dead.

Now by chance a certain priest was going down on that road, and having seen him, he passed by on the opposite side.

And likewise also a Levite having come to the spot, and having seen him, passed by on the opposite side.

But a certain Samaritan journeying came to him, and having seen him was moved with compassion, and having approached Him, he bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and having put him on his own beast, he brought him to an inn and took care of him.

And on the next day, having taken out two denarii,  he gave them to the innkeeper and said, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you might expend, I will repay you on my returning.’

Which of these three seems to you to have been a neighbor of the one having fallen among the robbers?”

And he said, “The one having shown compassion toward him.”

Then Jesus said to him, “You go and do likewise.”


The law Jesus refers to has four components, roughly equivalent to mind body spirit and the next body which may be called “soul”.

The coming down from Jerusalem to Jericho is incarnating into a mixed polarity environment. The robbers are simply the pangs of the 3D existence that leave us, one and all "half dead” at some points.

The beaten man/strength, is noticed by both the priest and the Levite. The first representative is of the heart/spirit of the priest, signifying our reluctance to give ourselves spiritual attention.  The Levites were a more economically endowed group/mind. The attention fails to induce action on his part and the catalyst of “Jericho” is sustained on the strength/body of the “certain man”.

A Samaritan, the mixed race, somewhat oppressed group of lesser fortune, represents our hope, which is of course the soul/society complex.
Evidence of this is given in the details.  He didn’t just say “they guy helped him- end of story”.

Again we have four elements: the binding of wounds for the physical complex, pouring the oil and wine for the spirit, and giving shelter to aid the mind complex. The fourth element is the following day, why, because we have then transitioned to fourth dimensional life in the society complex/soul, which is signified in the exchange with the innkeeper for two denarii plus whatever else was necessary for the certain man.  

"Go and do likewise” is a return to “What, having done…” but also underscores the example of one who actually follows the fourfold law in question.

Also of note- the lawyer asks "who is my neighbor?", and Jesus answers "the one having shown compassion”, and not “all of the beings on earth”… That is a detail which deserves further examination.

Matthew 13 @ 47

The kingdom of the heavens is like a dragnet having been cast into the sea, and having gathered together of every kind, which when it was filled, they having drawn it up on the shore and having sat down, collected the good into vessels, and they cast out the bad.

Thus will it be in the consummation of the age: The angels will go out and will separate the evil from the midst of the righteous, and will cast them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

The dragnet was very big, with weights, it was assured of getting all kinds of mature fish, and leaving the immature, which represent the un-harvestable.  

The yield is taken out of the ocean (Earth plane) and onto the shore. The harvesters are seated to do the work, which portrays their careful selection. The "bad" fish would have been the inedible ones, which are said to burn in the furnace with the gnashing of teeth, which may have been a reference to Hades, which was more of an actual place than Hell is purported to be. The "good" ones are the STO's, they are eaten.
