This was touching. I'm going to miss my wolfie and my other shepherd when they're gone.

Awe, that makes me think of the book Rainbow Bridge: 12 Keys of Amenti.
We had a family familiar, a cat named Strat(ocaster) who was about 19 or 20 when we finally had to let him go. When he passed though I was there when his spirit went and it was like he had been holding energy for me and our family and when he passed through me I felt a deep awakenings. Thank you Eternal. When my pets pass on, I think I'll be able to handle it.
That would be something to feel their spirit passing, knowing they are still with you. Anyone else have advice for when a pet passes? I know that Mr. Rodgers had a book called When a Pet Dies that he wrote. I'm also curious about energy transfers with the lost pet.

Gemini, have you found the time to read that AA Metatron channeling I sent to you? If you haven't, let me reassure you that it's primarily about life and not death, so no need to fear it!
I'm almost certain that you've known the two dogs you have in other forms, whether this life or previous, so take comfort, they don't just randomly pick their humans, just like we don't randomly pick our parents (even if it seems like it most of the time!)

Guen, I'm afraid I haven't yet read the channeling you sent. When I get around to it I'm sure it will be quite informative. I appreciate you sending it to me. I don't fear death. When the pets pass on, I'm sure it's onto larger life for them as well. Death is an illusion. I've got to take my mom shopping, so I'll hopefully check it out when I get back.

I had a dream just last night where I got a visit from a beloved friend on the other side, who had assumed the form of a cat in this world, we called her Luna... It felt really good seeing her in such a good condition as her last time here was very harsh =)

I'm reading the book "Dancing on a Stamp" by Garnet Schulhauser
In it they say that our passed on pets will be part of the welcoming party when we return to the Spirit Side.
