Just wondering.

Nothing is a waste of time if you do it with your heart, for there is love in each moment if you choose to experience it. For me it was fun, hence the beaming smiley and... You're right about having fun. I may be a bit too serious at times. I, also, do not know most of those words. Missed the smiley. Sorry I took it as bragging. ES

ES Thanks for understanding. If I may explain a little further... I am a researcher, a scientist, a seeker and gatherer of information. Show me a maze and I won't just find out where the other end is, but will give explanations of every corner and map it out with step by step directions and diagrams for those that follow... it is just the way I am. Some call it anal retentive, some call it gifted, some call it persistent... there are many ways to look at it, each a different perspective being neither wrong nor right. It really doesn't matter to me; I just be myself. To quote the INTJ phrase, where others look and say "Why?", I look and say "Why not?" I didn't know those words either , but I was interested in what they meant so took five minutes to look them up. I then threw a sentence together with them and a few other archaic words I could find. There are so many As I said, for me it was fun Because I believe in reincarnation, I look at the past as my past, our past, not as the lives of ancestors... but of us. We have each walked many paths, on many soils, in many places. We have used many tongues, and I like to think that perhaps one day those words were as common to us as words like "computer" are to us today. I like the Chinese proverb: If you want to know your past, look into your present conditions. If you want to know your future, look into your present actions. Be well brothers and sisters! All is perfect

I wondered if you took those words from Ra's teachings or from elsewhere. "There is nothing new under the sun." I used to think that was plain wrong, but now I believe it. There is evidence of more than we have been led to believe.

Which words specifically do you mean brother? Some were from βαθμιαίος's post, some from sites I looked up for archaic words, and some I knew.
Oh... a point I may have failed to mention. My mother was an English teacher, in England. My grasp on the English language is therefore not lacking, for she made very sure of it. I also speak some French, German, Spanish, and Chinese, and can understand a good deal of Italian and Latin. I think that might be another reason I find this whole word thing fun

You're right, I should have asked βαθμιαίος if he got the words from the Ra teachings. I'm sure knowing many languages helps in many ways by making word connections. ES

One the main reasons I'd rather read a channel transcript than listen. I really like the messages in some of the Kryon material by Lee Carroll. But I just can't listen to him...reminds me of a TV Preacher.

I just watched that Tuning In video that's in 9 parts on YouTube. It's really nice to have my belief system validated, and realize how these are real people and how humble they are to be such channels. The energy of how we are loved is so incredible.

In fact, the LOO material and maybe 1 or 2 others is all that I think is anywhere near credible. In my most humble opinion, I believe 95% of channeled material is bs at best and emanating from negative entities at worst. It's just a distraction, is the way I see it. PEACE

Ah, but this is why one must practice discernment. In every message there may be truth, and it is for the self to find that truth within the self. I look at channelling as a tool and nothing more, for within myself are all the answers.
Here is a link. Tuning In When I first began to watch this a couple months ago, it did not sit right with me, making me feel physically ill, and I never made it through even the first of the nine parts. I felt an interest in it today and watched it through all the parts. Today it resonated with me, and I am pleased I watched it. Whether they are channelling or whether they are all making it up... some parts resonated with what I know to be true. Another tool in the belt, another brick in the road to enlightenment.

The thing is, I don't think very many channelers out there "challenge" or test as Carla does. I could name some more prolific examples of those out there that seem to be really misled, but I know that's not in the spirit of this forum. What I look for is this "new agey" kind of glamorization of all things absurd. That's the first warning for me. But I know this is judgmental, and I apologize for that. I do agree that discernment is vital. The thing about that though is that the human mind is gullible and many times unable to discern truth from falsehood. PEACE |
