Yes this is very true. What would have been more correct for me to say is that this method implies a certain... style of action, a way to move and be which radiates love and gratitude through even the smallest action.

The context of which I said that this is not contemplation is through the lens of how others were framing it - they were implying that this is some mental exercise and for me it is much more than this.

(03-23-2013, 09:08 PM)ThatZenGuy Wrote: Greetings other self. Thank you for this insight. Indeed you are correct in thinking everything is alive and apart of the universe itself and the creator. This is truth. We are all made of the same energy down to the very atom and quantum form we are made from.

As an exercises, I would rather thank and be thankful for everything I have and am I contact with. It's because everything you see, touch, smell and hear is because something else before it created it. From the dust to the air to the trees to the animals to you.

I think it would a more wise use of time to serve other selves and be thankful for everything rather than try to serve material objects with a very low level of conscientiousness. I could see someone taking your advice literally and try to serve their blanket and chair. Maybe they were created to serve us and we should be thankful they are apart of our lives.

Meditating and feeling yourself merge into everything around you is a great exercise though. I do this often.

    You're very welcome.

I am not necessarily suggesting that one seek to serve so-called material objects, but that one realizes that all is alive, that the universe is essentially one being, and with this realization to radiate love and gratitude with all of your being, and letting every action be an expression of this, as much as is possible.

The reason that I have framed this as an exercise is so that one may, for a variable length of time, attempt to live in such a way that you describe, and if they find value in it, then they can make it a lifestyle. This may also be understood as an exercise such as the one you explain as well; the only limits to this method are the limits one places on it.

I would also encourage anyone who feels that there may be a misunderstanding within discussion of any concepts within the Law of One and the L/L material to bring attention to this so the community may discuss it and everyone can grow their understanding.

    I agree with you completely.

There is a legend, of Navajo origin I believe, of a woman who spoke with an old and wise tree which shared with her the mysteries of the universe. It is a very beautiful legend and I feel that it may actually be true.

WAG, have you considered the implications of taking 1D matter putting it with other 1D matter, in order to transform it into something else (alchemy if you will). Consider taking a metal from the ground, purifying it, shaping it, and making it a chair, one that any can interact with. Whereas a simple metal will spend years alone in the ground.

Have you considered the idea of taking a seed, and helping it grow it into a tree, one that can fruit in the desire to both continue its own and to feed others? We are always serving these 1D and 2D creatures, and others are using them to serve themselves. However, the interaction between STS and these entities is on the surface, the same as the interaction between STO and these entities, the difference is internal to the individual who is interacting with these entities.

Maybe the majority don't see themselves as creating in terms of serving, but it is the ultimate manifestation of what is: an investment.

(I've been away for quite some time)

Sure, I see what you're saying. What you're talking about is more of what Q'uo would call 'functioning'. I tend to operate more from 'being' - that is, simply radiating love. I'm not sure whether it was Q'uo or Ra who said that the Sun is always sending us 6th density love, but it's pretty relevant here. It's like how flowers grow towards the sun. If you radiate love you will help these lower dimensional entities grow and evolve. Does this make sense?

Anyway, as far as alchemy, sure - there are scientists who are working on doing this very thing. I would even consider art to be a form of alchemy; you can have some blank piece of paper, for example, and then whatever you etch onto it is essentially a reflection of you - as above, so below. If you're gold, the canvas will become gold - your art is a reflection of you.

(03-23-2013, 05:22 PM)We are God Wrote: Life has been tough for me recently. In July, on my birthday, a cop shot my uncle in the head in his own bedroom, stole money, and lied about it all; I even had to help clean up the mess. Soon after that I quit my job because of a sociopathic manager. I broke up with my girlfriend, moved out of our apartment and now I'm living with my parents. My sister got locked up and my parents are very busy so I am the one taking care of the newborn much of the time. All of this happened within a matter of months - it's amazing how life can change so dramatically in such little time. It's given me more time to evolve and serve in my own way, if nothing else. I am lucky to be jobless, my history with insane management seems to be a sign that I need to stop relying on others for my security, working with the kid is definitely a lesson in patience, the situation with my uncle a lesson in forgiveness, etc. I have much more time to meditate and produce art now, which I am most thankful for.

Anyway, I don't see any problem with enjoying your free time; over-extending oneself will reduce the quality of service. Service should not be a chore, it is meaningful because it is from your own free will.

Sounds as if you are a young person, so I am offering you some advice based on my experience. You are going through an incredible amount of stuff - sounds like you have a good attitude. It's possible you are simply burning up karma at a tremendous rate. That's what happened to me, as my life kept getting better. Best wishes to you.

Everything really is alive. This will allow you to polarize because other-selves are not just organisms. The question now becomes - how do you serve a blanket or a bed? You offer it love - that's how. This will polarize you positively.

or try considering it as being 'perfect love' already.

one's expectations define the relationship you have with a person or object.

try shifting the attitude to one of seeing 'love' everywhere, and more often than not, reality/experience will delight you in how it answers Smile

and when you try, as hard as you can, to see love but are unable ... there is a big red flag for catalyst. It's the 'mote' in your own eye that is preventing the seeing there.

(03-22-2013, 11:46 PM)We are God Wrote: This is not a balancing exercise, as you say - I never said it was. It can indeed be very useful for opening the heart, you are correct.

I used to be addicted to balancing exercises - but then I discovered there is nothing more balancing than opening the heart. Open heart overrides the imbalances because the heart center tolerates opposites and is able to shuttle us beyond them, beyond duality. Transcendence happens through the heart and a lot of balancing exercises are of the mind, even the one Ra gave. It's good, too, but still. Keep your heart open and you balance with express speed.

That's a very useful idea to keep in mind - to offer love all the time to everything - a useful walking meditation.

    Thank you! Smile

I would maintain that the keyboard is not sentient and is unaware of this "service". When it's done to a sentient being that requests such aid, then there is real service.

The keyboard is not sentient but it's alive - made of the same God-energy as all the rest.

Unless you want to make a distinction between "sentient" and "conscious," everything is conscious, although I'm unable to describe what the consciousness of a keyboard would be comparable to. Actually consciousness, as I understand it, is not something that can be grasped by the mind, only experienced directly.

9.5 Questioner: The original, the first entities on this planet— what was their origin? Where were they before they were on this planet?

Ra: I am Ra. The first entities upon this planet were water, fire, air and earth.

13.16 Questioner: Could you tell me about this first density of planetary entities?

Ra: I am Ra. Each step recapitulates intelligent infinity in its discovery of awareness. In a planetary environment all begins in what you would call chaos, energy undirected and random in its infinity. Slowly, in your terms of understanding, there forms a focus of self-awareness. Thus the Logos moves. Light comes to form the darkness, according to the co-Creator’s patterns and vibratory rhythms, so constructing a certain type of experience. This begins with first density which is the density of consciousness, the mineral and water life upon the planet learning from fire and wind the awareness of being. This is the first density.

13.17 Questioner: Does this first density then progress to greater awareness?

Ra: The spiraling energy, which is the characteristic of what you call “light,” moves in straight line spiral thus giving spirals an inevitable vector upwards to a more comprehensive beingness with regards to intelligent infinity. Thus, first dimensional beingness strives towards the second-density lessons of a type of awareness which includes growth rather than dissolution or random change.

(03-20-2013, 04:37 PM)Aureus Wrote: As I understand it, this is a technique to keep the choice bending towards positive, thus moving energy toward the heart, a spot I'm assuming most people here have going pretty good anyway. This is however no balancing exercise, and will not aid in mending the very common "top heaviness" -the upper chakras being more developed than the lower, making you more likely to fall face first in situations requiring power.

I agree with you, Aureus, that we must be mindful not to become "top-heavy" and remember about the clearing exercises.

But the techniques for opening the heart and for balancing cannot be separated into two groups. Many techniques are mainly for heart opening or mainly for balancing but achieve the other thing as well - and I feel it's true for the technique given here as well.

E.g. the Demartini Method - very similar to Ra's balancing exercises https://drdemartini.com/demartini_method; book: The Breakthrough Experience. When you've gone all the way with the balancing, you end up with heart wide open.

the Sedona Method - my personal favourite - most people start on it for balancing but in its more advanced forms it allows to live love and keep heart open in a balanced way. Definitely prevents top-heaviness, this crowd are very down-to-earth. I strongly recommend their movie Letting Go, you can learn SM from it. It's free. Link here, click on the Letting Go box: http://artbutterflycoaching.com/methods/sedona-method/. It's a great remedy for Wanderer's blues :-)
