It's good to ask questions! It helps determine where you're going.I like the poem. It shows your heart and says a lot. I can see in the writing those dark and light thoughts weaving together, producing a picture of who you are right now.
I also like how the first and last lines can be put together, enveloping the rest like a silent and momentary thought occurring as you stand in that field.
