First, "Temperance" in the tarot card is an well-known double-entendre for the tempering of steel. The crystallization of this archetype for me coincided with discovering this old Chinese quote on the day of the Venus transit:
"Only with tempering is steel produced"
Translates to me as maintenance of the flame of experience with care and patience until the given the crystallization point is reached and steel is produced.
In some versions the Temperance card is even called the Alchemist. This is a good proverb which expresses this very principle. With patience comes integrity, for care is then put in to work, and with integrity comes strength and consistency.

This is new because i can see in my psychology that i both get and not get what you mean.
These are rare these days and mean that should i try to fully understand the quote, a quest/experience/journey will be involved.
