This is an important retraction of a statement I made above. Please read it if you have read my other posts.
Above I posted:
Funny how fast you can learn in this game. Sometimes the light acts in weird ways and you get a chance to swallow your pride and admit you were wrong. I just had a friend with much more experience than me in the psychic arts that this is a BAD idea. Let me tell you why:
1. Overworking your crown chakra is not good. It's easy to get addicted to the thrill of psychic openness and negative energies can creep in. Negs are smarter than you, more powerful than you, and subtle in their ways. If you overuse your crown chakra you are susceptible to negative greetings.
2. Are you SURE you can focus your mind enough only to access an entity's higher self, and not lower parts? If not, maybe Hitler isn't so smart.
3. Are you SURE you're sure?? Have you talked to someone more practiced than you in these arts who's made mistakes you can learn from without your having to repeat them yourself?
4. The thrill of openness and crown-communion with all the myriad points in the spread of stars that's All that Is is also something that can cause an imbalance. It can be like being in a store where EVERYTHING is very pretty and desirable, and you just can't stop shifting your eyes around and around and around to take it in. It feeds the monkey mind in a big way if you get addicted to this.
Just be careful, please. I can't believe how fast the universe hands out lessons. We're *definitely* hitting the singularity soon. :-)
Be brave, seekers, and do your dharma.

Quote:As an esoteric practice IMO nothing beats what the Tibetans call Guru Yoga. It's very simple: pick a target mind out there in the cosmos and open your crown chakra. Let your mind mix with that mind. And that's the practice. You can absorb imprints of well-grounded people like those businessmen I mentioned, as well as any saint, spirit, power animal, or higher-density being. It works with stones and computers and fictional characters. I owe all my esoteric success, basically, to that simple practice. You can isolate any being's higher self by choice so even very evil people can be tapped. I recommend Adolf Hitler if you want to feel the energy of pure forgiveness. Makes sense, right? If you can forgive yourself for Nazi Germany, you can forgive anyone and make them feel like they can forgive themselves, too.
