Haha, most of the people here eat meat anyway so won't care.

I didn't know what was in it at the time I bought it. I never imagined that a water filter would be made from bones! It wasn't until after it was installed, that I found out. So then I was in a quandary, because by then I could tell that it really did work (in contrast to the aluminum-based one I had before).
I still have it installed for the time being, but I'm actively looking for an alternative. Animal product or fluoride? Damn that's just wrong, that we even have to make such a choice!
Does anyone know of any other way to remove fluoride? My ionizer machine restructures the water, removing about 1/2 of it, but I want it all gone.
