Quote:Code release is the publication of all of the source code files, in a computer programming language, necessary to build software using software development tools.
We will only release final product with headers (h/hpp). The game engine licensing, development tools costs, artwork, graphics costs are in tens of thousands.
We are notably different because we licensed game engine, AutoCad import/export, internal file-system and other libraries, all with full-source codes.
There are many licensing restrictions - notably - on graphics works, sound licensing, libraries and library source-code. The people who we licensed these from would not like them to be redistributed "as-is".
We are not aware of any casual user who would pay few thousands for a high-quality game engine.
We may or may not release source code for the game, however, final product is free or at nominal cost (e.g., you pay for S&H).
Also, this may or may not materialize at all.
Development is in beginning stages with most effort concentrated on story and game-logic.
