Your post made me think of an old Bible verse from my childhood:

What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 1:9

Also makes me wonder what might be found in another 100,000 years. Plastic water bottles?

Not if we cleanup 3d properly before making ourselves invisible for the new future 3d cycles on Earth.
