That would be an accurate comparison if I had said: "Men need women to teach them how to love" but that's not what I said.
I have tried to clarify but it's still being misunderstood, and I'm not going to let it bother me that I've been grossly misunderstood. I will offer only one suggestion: Sometimes it's helpful to consider that we sometimes choose to be offended, rather than truly understand what the other person is saying.
I won't be responding to any further discussion directed at my statement.
