also death is the reaper. as in harvest. does that mean harvest happens upon death?

It may be that the harvest in this case is the individuals' harvest of all experience gained during that particular lifetime(?). Just as we may harvest the experiences / catalyst we've received during the day while we drift off to sleep, so can we harvest the lessons learned from a lifetime as we drift off to death.
