My friend, why else would I be here if I was not here to be of service? My perceptions to look beyond the veil are to give service to others to see beyond duality, for those who are ready for it. Naturally, I feel very much as a Bodhisattva myself, I am quite in to the Dzogchen tradition, but there has always been one principle that I have kept careful track of - that of idiot compassion. I do all I can to bring light and love to the world, but I do not leave it without wisdom. I do not believe in "the gods", so you have clearly created your own perception of what service, and service to self, means to you. To be honest, I would ask the higher self and guides of the individual what they need from my interaction, a starving man needs food, but more importantly he may need the sense of self worth to desire to sustain his own life. Suffering is everywhere, and I do everything in my power to alleviate it, but I do not "alleviate" the sufferings of a drug addict, or alchoholic who is going through withdrawal and needs a fix, that would be idiot compassion. I must always remember that each and every life is going through lessons, and catalyst, and I am always conscientious of Free Will and whether or not my interference would ultimately prolong the suffering or the lesson. I must admit I treat the matter very intuitively, as lives are highly reactive existences.
You are certainly not dense, you are very valid and true in your point, and I am of the exact same mind working towards the completion of this universe and the fulfillment of every life. Does that mean I must work in the same manner as you, or that my manner of working does not work towards that end because it can be confusing? Certainly not, it just means that I am oriented towards particular types of people who may interact with me as catalyst, and so I BE MYSELF, to allow my full capacities as a catalyst to be utilized. Certainly, I can do no more than that, I will not overburden myself with constant worries of every individual, that will just drain the energy I do have to put towards those individuals I can help. It is not selfish, nor is it negative, to keep one's mind free of the EMOTIONAL WEIGHT of the responsibility of "saving the world", because that is just an illusory idea. Everything I do, in every moment, and everything everyone does, in every moment, is working towards the great Plan, we must all play our roles, and express our creative energies which add our own little part to the entirety of the universe. I am pleased to be allied and incarnated with you all, blessings, adonai.
