Plenum your story parallels Buddha's with respect to the pivotal, life-changing experience you had when, having left the relative comforts of your home life, you had a direct experience with heart-wrenching suffering.

If you find a Bodhi Tree and determine not to leave its shade until you've gained enlightenment, please save me a spot next to you. I'll take the plunge too. = )
