Personally, I'm more impressed by your mysterious friend experience, particularly the one it popped up in waking reality. Who would not like such an unconventional guardian. If he bore a name of nobility it might be not too difficult to find out more. There is usually a signifier before the name like 'von' as in 'von Clausewitz' which he perhaps deleted from the family name. Google for 'von [your surname]' and see what comes up. Most will be probably in German. So if Google-translate doesn't give you comprehensible results you can PM me for support, if revealing your surname isn't an issue to you.

But I can see why you fancy Neuschwanstein, built for what is maybe the foremost fairy-tale king to live in the west Compared to russian castles like the Moscow Kremlin most of the west are rather unassuming.

maybe this is something related to my ancestors story, but i've been in love with European architecture since childhood. Especially what concerns Germany and Holland =) Neuschwanstein looks like a piece of fairy tale, that's true =)
