The moon does spin my friend, which is why it always faces the earth. If the moon was still, as it moved along its orbital path around the earth, we would see it in it's full 360º glory.
The rotation of the moon is perfectly equal (in terms of ratio) to that of it's orbit, to the point that after goodness knows how many years of rotation and spinning, it never fails to remain facing us in the exact same position.
The chances of that happening 'randomly' are infinitesimally small indeed.
For the record, I am certain the moon is not a natural earth satellite. Many scientific facts (released by NASA themselves) point in the same direction.
