I know one of my friends would humorously appreciate that. I actually used to enjoy getting people angry on XBL. I remember how exhausting it made me feel, now I know why.(12-15-2011, 12:03 PM)Observer Wrote: I have noticed an increasing lack in my desire to partake in the games that I used to play, I replace the activity with other more enjoyable things.
When I see this thread bumped, I literally wanted to come in and say the same.
I used to play (when meeting with this forum) 3-5 hours of competitive gaming - StarCraft II and Street Fighter IV - daily as my main source of entertainment in the free time. As I am doing yoga, meditation, and "tuning in" to be more and more balanced, I became less and less interested in this.
I still turn my 360 on to meet with my friends online, and I join the games, I love to have a good laugh with all of them on party chat, but honestly, just practicing some combos in training mode in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is enough for me, and I am not sad if I do not have anyone to play "against". Also, when I lose, I go and send a complementary message to the one who beat me, even when I might feel a little bad about "lost". Immediately there is a tension releasing in the heart chakra this way, and I can literally feel it.
It feels good to gratulate your opponent and send love, instead of holding on to that SALT!
...now they just need to make a game I'd enjoy. Murdering people just isn't fun anymore.
