Yes. In Pagan lore, the Moon represents the feminine principle, and all things magickal and mystical: the Dreamstate and so much more.
I don't know if I can wrap my mind around the idea that the Moon is a cold, artificial, military base. There are indeed military bases on the Moon, according to Ra, but that doesn't negate the other aspects of the Moon. Just as the negative aspects of Earth don't negate the many positive.
To me, the Moon is a Goddess.
And I am a Moon worshiper!
