I respect your perspective.
You came to this perception, on all accounts, by the use of the brain. Therefore, IMO, you have simply elaborated on the brain itself. The idea of different channels is also a common conclusion by the brain. The spiral dynamics of "light" reach an ant in a very specific way that makes the ant an insect. I see the brain repeating itself in all facets of life for all centuries recorded by it.
It's like baking a cake. Change the ingredients and it becomes something different. Did they different cake always exist, and the ingredients brought the cake to this realization? I say no, it's just different chemical makeup.
"You are just a thought". Not some grand, magnificent thought of a universe. No, just a simple *smaszit* of brain electricity.
