how do you do this?
Using the same techniques we used for vocal channeling anything else. Very similar to Carla's own tuning techniques, except instead of requesting contact with an other-self, requesting to communicate with your Higher Self. I got the idea from the book I initially read when researching channeling, called "Opening to Channel."
The technique ended up being more fruitful for us than the other contact we made. As a group, we would discuss a personal issue one person was having, that person would channel their Higher Self while another would prompt questions. This would all be recorded for the channeler to listen to later.
We learned along the way that the type of information shared by one's Higher Self is very different than by another source. When as a group, if questions started to lean away from the channeler themselves or dealt with someone else in the group, the Higher Self would point out quickly that it was their to guide one person and couldn't help beyond that.
When doing it by myself, I use a voice recorder, tune, request communication with a certain topic in mind, and let the thoughts flow. I'll usually come to 30 minutes to an hour later, listen to the recording, and not remember saying any of it. This can also be done with written channeling but I find it easier to fall into a "trance" (not like trance channeling) while vocally channeling.
