someone said, paraphrasing, we are given things that help us reach higher grounds, but we can also use them as a drug and keep wanting more because it's only a springboard, not the destination. so weed can be used as a soporific instead of a springboard, a destination of something instead of using it to get to the real destination. which is a higher beingness. i'm not saying this well. what i mean is weed can open your mind, you can take that and keep your mind open yourself. or you can keep thinking weed is what you need to keep it open or feel the way you feel. when in fact a continuous use is just use.
