its a parody of of an earlier era hit song 'ameno', which sounds more like a church hymn than a chart topper song.

...........

and orthodox christian priest attire and dress-up is a bit scary like portrayed in the parody. the 'piously turning towards something that is descending from the sky' motif is not missed in the parody.
