For example: if someone anonymously shares a message through the internet which angers many people who have no direct way of interacting with the author, how would their collective dislike of the author cause him/her to feel reluctant to share a similar message in the future. As they say, it's not quantity but quality, otherwise anyone could be an effective healer for example. Most of our decisions are based on unconscious motivations, as we are mostly unable (capable, but unable) of using our free will to an extent that would subsume the collective mind. The thoughts we (the collective) create provide the opportunity for that author to make an unconscious decision in a particular direction, if that author resonates with the thought flow - probably at an intuitive level.
