This notion of remembering, reminds me of something else that may be somehow related. That is, many times people learn something better by going through many cycles of forgetting and remembering. It seems not so unlike a tempering process, as that of stressing and recovering in some way in the process of becoming stronger. There's a saying that can go along with that, "use it or lose it".
I ponder that the veiled nature of incarnating / re-incarnating may be part of some important learning process. Ra suggests that good learning in the lower densities can ease development in the higher densities. So in some way, piercing such a veil may counteract the effect of growing through catalytic action because an unveiled state may make it easy to steer clear of such catalytic experiences that may risk some degree of discomfort.
Another factor related to veiling may be the inherent limitations of lifeforms. For example, one life-form may offer advantages in certain ways of learning that another type of life-form cannot provide. In the context of a social memory complex, such thinking may be extended to pairings or groups of life-forms, say as opposed to being solitary. Possibly, lower density living can lend a greater sense of a lonely state of being that may be conducive to certain types of learning.
