In the video the intuitive guy says use Audacity (like Cool Edit) to change the frequency of your music. Presumably, this uses some kind of interpolation filter to resample. I was not considering changing the basis for the 'middle A' standard, but questioning the basis for the frequency conversion of all notes which necessarily follow any arbitrary harmonic relationship, regardless of the particular octave it may fall into.
Since it was brought up, I wouldn't mind someone explaining the relationship between cellular DNA and sound vibration, if they have any experience with it.
