Maybe your concious "permission" is different than your unconcious "permission". I would say that this most probably is the case.

You should research astral projection and out of body travel / experiences and try to improve your ability. I think that it is happening to you without a concious permission just because you are subconciously built for these kind of things. Or maybe you have a some sort of tendency to these incidents, coming from a past life possibly.
