I believe he's referring to Zahi Hawass.
I've never liked the guy. I saw him on TV for the first time some ten or more years ago, and the way he talked to the female host of the show really creeped me out. That plus everything he did or showed about the pyramid or tomb he was in seemed to have been scripted for maximum self-aggrandizing effect. He exudes all the charm of a used car salesman. Also I remember reading recently that he has been having difficulty since the Egypt unrest due to some sort of financial involvement with the Mubaraks. Looking forward to seeing him step down.
