Mating with higher density beings certainly isn't the worst fate I can think of. 
I've heard a lot of stuff about how people with Rh- blood types are supposed to be the descendants of aliens or been modified by them, but whether or not it is true I think a lot of the information put forth is just an attempt to establish the "elite" mindset..."I have such and such a type of blood, and that makes me special (aka superior to you)."
My senses are sharpened and I don't even have a fancy blood type. A lot of times I wish I could just turn it off, though. I'm extremely sensitive to light, high-pitched noises are painful to me, my skin bruises incredibly easily, I am an extremely picky eater, and I get so bothered by certain smells that my friend thought I was pregnant. It feels like I'm on pins and needles all the time.
