If you haven't seen it already look for "dr quantum" on google vids, it's a good introduction, a bit simple though.
I was looking for this awesome site where some physics student drew brilliant cartoon figures and represented much of the material in a cartoonish form. That was actually my introduction years ago. But I cannot find it now
Other than that I'm empty. Try google vids, the documentaries are a good introduction.
