Not a bit confused, Sirius --
This has been my personal practice for many years now, 'charging' my water so it will do the most possible good for my body, for my plants, for my animal companions. I keep a filter pitcher on the counter (I don't like really cold water). Several years ago I started putting healing stones in the bottom of the pitcher - usually three stones, which I change periodically according to what my intuition tells me would be most beneficial - and I noticed the pitcher no longer gets slimy like it did after a few days without the stones. (I do still clean it regularly, though!) I also put healing stones that are more specific to my personal needs in the water bottle I carry.
Lastly, I place an additional 'charge' in my water by blessing it (a personal process). When I use disposable bottles, if there's a pen handy, I'll draw healing symbols on the outside. I don't do this with my day-to-day bottle because the ink won't stick to it.
I have no idea how this might manifest under a microscope, nor could I say I've felt a noticeable difference in how blessed/charged water affects my body, but I can say my body more readily informs me when I neglect to drink enough water in any given day -- and I believe this is a direct result, at a minimum, of the mindfulness with which I approach water consumption; I also believe the stones provide extra benefit but this belief is based on intuitive/energetic information rather than physical changes.
Looking forward to hearing others' thoughts on this!
