Ah, yes, well all of these notes are particular of western music. In fact, "notes" are just a frequency gradiant. (http://www.phy.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreqs.html) In middle eastern orchestras they say there are as many different tunings as there are these orchestras. Realistically, there is an infinite variation of "notes", just as different frequencies. That's why there has to be so many different kinds of instruments!
Although you CAN bend notes, as its called doing these slight variations, on holed instruments like a wooden flute, I can do it on mine anyways. This is also a big secret to the chants of monks.
