    Can you explain what you mean by vortices and spiral distortions?
    Take a towel put it flat on a table. Put your hand on the towel. Then rotate your hand pushing down on the towel and see the towel get pulled in a vortex or spiral distortion. Wink

    There's sometimes this notion that hemp smokers are more spiritual than alcohol drinkers. But if we look at the past both alcohol and hemp have been used in religious rites to put a seer in a state where he can do his work.

    So this also would indicate that there is no big difference between spiritual sensitivity of being drunk or stoned. In my opinion there is no difference between the states at all. If weed would increase ones spiritual abilities, I believe our youth culture would be filled with young Buddhas...

    Quote:I dated a guy in college who always went to class stoned...and we were computer programming students! I tried it once, and never again! Whereas his mind comprehended technical data while stoned, mine just wanted to put on headphones and listen to Pink Floyd!
    I'm one of those... Smile I'm practically always tinkering on software after smoking. It doesn't always work mind you. If you exaggerate you tend to get a good laugh looking at your code later. But usually it just works. I never did show up in college under the influence of anything. The furthest I went was after a particularly nasty examination getting together with some fellow "victims" and smoke one for good luck.

    @Phoenix
    Which eye are you referring to? The third eye? I have always understood that clear and unmoving was a good thing. Not a common thing but a good thing. One of those things you encounter in people who have been doing spiritual work for multiple lives.

    Creepy, the number of times I went to class at college wrecked. I was doing a BTEC National in IT practitioners. Programming networking etc.
    In HONESTY I found the programming nearly impossible if I was sober, it would wind me up and frustrate me cuasing me to never make progress, it is the laid back approach which is what got me through the programming units. Networking was pretty fun also, still finishing the work before anybody else. Everybody knew, even the teachers, but as they saw it was NOT impacting my work, it was never brought up as an issue.

    At school, taking my final exams I did stop smoking it outright for the 2 month period of which they all where in. With the mindset, you only have to do it once, so just do it well. My grades where pretty bismal, even my teachers where suprised and 3 of my papers where sent off for remarking becuase they just didn't believe that's what I did in the exam. Quitting the realxing drug during a tense period in life, did not work.

    Pheonix, sorry about that. Re-reading it, i really didnt read it properly. I think this is most probably sue tp the ammount of groups which DO think sex is bad, I personally can't work out why, besides how it becomes a ruling factor in sombodys life. I guess after seeing Ra say the opposite, the rest is pants BigSmile

    I am going to attempt to spend a little less time on the forum and a little more in the books in the coming week Smile

    Drunkenness from my experience CERTAINLY opens you up to negative Spirits. Not just the ones which sit in your aura either. David Wilcock would say this has something to do with the pineal gland.

    Weed if anything just makes you want to sleep when you start meditating, that is my experience.

    Love and Light!!
